4.0 out of 5 stars Great value for money
Reviewed in the United States on 23 April 2020
I use markers all the time. I sketch and color with them. I own all the expensive markers out there. I own a complete set of Copic, Prismacolor and other leading brands. I know a good marker, when I see it. I decided to buy this set, because I have little girls at home that like to use my really expensive markers for their art projects. I thought this would eliminate the thought process.

I will give you the Pros and Cons:

Pros:
1) Inexpensive- love the price! Great deal!
2) odorless-there is absolutely no smell
3) vibrant colors. Colors are smooth and beautiful. There is virtually no difference in the saturation levels of a premium marker and this one. I was impressed.
4) wide selection of colors

Cons:

1) Color on marker cap doesn’t match color of marker (It does match color card that came with markers)

2) No brush tip ( there is no comparison on marker tip ) Tips on both ends are hard and squeaky. I have colored over ten drawings and the markers still squeak.

3) Color sometimes spreads... bleeds. This happen when you get close to a line. It can be aggravating to see the color spread. Only some markers do it.

4). Case- the case is so flimsy. A sock is sturdier. Unfortunately, that is not a joke.

All in all. I was impressed. I give it a overall performance 8.5/10 in comparison to Copic markers. Brush tip 1/10. Color vibrancy 10/10 Wedge tip 8/10

5.0 out of 5 stars Great alcohol markers!
Reviewed in the United States on 26 September 2020
This is my first set of alcohol markers. I always wanted a set of Copic but just never really wanted to pay the price tag. So after so many years of thinking about it I decided to get me some alcohol markers, due to my thumb tendon tearing in an accident and making coloring with small pencils super painful. I absolutely love them! They don’t bleed as much as I thought they would (because of how cheap they are) and the saturation is beautiful! The colors are vibrant and you get so many to choose from at such little price. They are smooth on different paper types, in my photos there are thick sketchbook pages and coloring book pages, on both types they went on smooth and look great!!! If you’re thinking about getting some then maybe consider this set! It’s fantastic!!!

4.0 out of 5 stars These are pretty amazing!
Reviewed in the United States on 30 December 2020
I am impressed. For the price these are really amazing markers. I have a small, very old, very dried out set of copics that I can't afford to replace. After searching for hours I found this set and thought I would risk it. 'Worst case scenario' I would have to layer with colored pencils and these would limp me along until summer when I'm making more money.
I'm so happy I risked it. Since I might have only gotten 6 of my favorite markers for this cost, getting 128 was a steal.
Colors: the color range is pretty great. There are a few colors that are the same, or are so close that it seems a waste to have them in there when they aren't used often.
The number of markers that can be used for skin tones is pretty amazing. Adding in the variety gotten when layering some of those grays over browns and I don't see an area I will be lacking.
I stopped writing the color names because they aren't on the markers (minor detail considering the price) but more so because they started getting weird. The pastel pink for example is a little "hot" to be a pastel.

The markers themselves don't have the numbers on them, only the lids. Again, not a big deal for me because I recap my markers every time. The chisel end is marked by a black band which is nice.
The markers have a nice sized triangular body that is very pleasant to hold.

Three of the markers are a tad dry and took multiple layers to get good coverage in the swatches. One of them I'm fine with because it's one of the colors that's doubled up (a green/brown/gold color I doubt I'll use). One is the lightest warm gray (sad about that one, it weighed on my decision to go 4 stars instead of 5.) The other is a yellow color that I can probably make due without.
Subtracting those 3 markers I still got 125 amazingly juicy markers.

The case they come in isn't great. There is no structure to it and it has no dividers or any way to sort markers at all as some of the others I saw did. When I unzipped the case the markers kind of flopped every which way, so I doubt trying to organize them in it would be worth the time. I personally would not travel with this case. I would rather take a handful of markers for the day than deal with it.

Overall this is great bang for your buck. The 'issues' are so minor compared to how amazing this deal is. Would definitely recommend to any artist who wants sketching idea markers that won't waste the expensive ones or anyone starting out with alcohol markers.
