I use markers all the time. I sketch and color with them. I own all the expensive markers out there. I own a complete set of Copic, Prismacolor and other leading brands. I know a good marker, when I see it. I decided to buy this set, because I have little girls at home that like to use my really expensive markers for their art projects. I thought this would eliminate the thought process.
I will give you the Pros and Cons:
Pros:
1) Inexpensive- love the price! Great deal!
2) odorless-there is absolutely no smell
3) vibrant colors. Colors are smooth and beautiful. There is virtually no difference in the saturation levels of a premium marker and this one. I was impressed.
4) wide selection of colors
Cons:
1) Color on marker cap doesn’t match color of marker (It does match color card that came with markers)
2) No brush tip ( there is no comparison on marker tip ) Tips on both ends are hard and squeaky. I have colored over ten drawings and the markers still squeak.
3) Color sometimes spreads... bleeds. This happen when you get close to a line. It can be aggravating to see the color spread. Only some markers do it.
4). Case- the case is so flimsy. A sock is sturdier. Unfortunately, that is not a joke.
All in all. I was impressed. I give it a overall performance 8.5/10 in comparison to Copic markers. Brush tip 1/10. Color vibrancy 10/10 Wedge tip 8/10
