Works well. Does not stay in place as well as my first purchase of this type. Easily slips and moves. The one that doesn’t move and is firmly in place is Flamingo P 17" x 24" Soft Bath Mat Non-slip Rubber Bathroom Rug Mats Water Absorbent Navy Waved Pattern https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01A0OA10Y/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_i_yj0cBbY94VD12
Contacted seller asking, “ I purchased two of your Genteele Memory Foam Bath Mat Non Slip Absorbent Super Cozy Velvet Bathroom Rug Carpet (22 inches X 36 inches, Navy). It is non slip BUT it is NOT absorbent as you have indicated in your add. What’s wrong with it and why doesn’t it absorb water as you have said?? I like the non slip snd the cushion feel of it but the out of the shower non absorbent is a big issue. It is not as advertised. Will washing it hell? Do I need to return it? Please advise, so far this wet sponge feel is a deal breaker!”
We searched for a mat that would be 22 inches wide, to fit in a specific space. (We needed to use it as a buffer in a dog crate between the dog pan and the metal wiring - otherwise, the wiring and the pan hitting together when the puppies move around causes sounds that bother the puppies' ears). I searched for something specific that would be 22 inches wide. This is much narrower. Very disappointing because I spent a huge amount of time reading listings, and chose this one, over others that could have done the job. Now I have to return this and go back and read the listings all over again, just because the width is grossly misstated. However, it does seem to be well made and is attractive.
I really like these rugs, quite plush and soft, but you have to remember one thing, do not put them in the washing machine, as they come out wrinkled, and you can never get them out (this is my second set, ruined the first); I clean them weekly, with Shout Wipe and Go Instant Stain Remover Packets (1 per 2 rugs, per week), and that seems to work pretty well, otherwise I highly-recommend them.
I bought this to use outside the shower while toweling. It works perfectly - soft and comfortable. The backing of the rug is moderately skid-resistant. It needs to be snug against the tub/shower to prevent it from slipping. The memory foam rug is absorbent and dries relatively easily. The navy blue is great but it spotlights lint and debris like crazy so I put it inside the shower stall when not in use.
A couple of years ago I had visited an out of state cousin and he had one of these mats in his bathroom. I was so impressed with it at the time. Then I forgot about it until recently and found this one on Amazon. It really is perfect. I have a disability and with all it's great seemingly luxurious features, the very best feature for me is that it's totally non-slip and very stable. Who knew that I could love something so much as I do this simple bath mat, LOL?
Very nice, soft and absorbent bath mat...I will say it was better even than I was expecting when I ordered it...The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because it slides some from where it was put...I am always having to move it back into place. But overall I would highly recommend this item...it is very nice and not that big of a deal to have to move it a few inches now and again to keep it where you want it.
My husband LOVES his blue mat. It's super soft on his feet when he is brushing his teeth or using the mirror in the bathroom. We have a very long his/hers sink, and the larger 36" size was perfect to cover his side. I'm waiting to see how the memory foam holds up after a few months. I'm very happy with faux velvet; we have a litter box in between the sinks and the cats love to track over the mat, but I can just sweep it right off (as long as the mat isn't wet--then the litter smears but I've been able to wet a washcloth and wipe that off easily too!)
I’m happy with this rug, along with the matching rug that fits around the base of the toilet perfectly. To get the dust and lint off of them, I use a hand held, mini broom. It looks brand new each time I brush it.
I love these. They are soft and provide support for my feet. I've both washed them and vacuumed them without issue. The color is still the same, and accurate to the photo. They do shift about a bit on the floor, but nothing major. When I first got them they popped like bubble wrap when stepped on. That soon stopped, and the foam is still supportive. They are a little thick for a door to pass over them, so keep that in mind when you consider size.
