Broken right after one wash

I just got it today. It feels comfortable when I am standing on it. Although I used delicate mode of my washing machine to wash the carpet, it broke just after one wash. And now the foam is showing.

I bought this based on the photographs in the posting and seeing the rating, but I’m kicking myself for not reading the actual reviews. Though the colour and size is what I was looking for, I literally could have bought the same quality at the Dollar Store and saved myself $30+. It came folded into quarters which left creases but after a few days it flattened out. The pictures and description show it is thick, plush, luxurious and comfortable. What I received is neither thick or comfortable. The foam is no more than 1/8” thick and provides no cushion. If I could return this, I would, however I had hoped it would “plush up” from the shipping packaging so I gave it a chance, but it has not and has remained thin and disappointing. If you are looking for a thin, lightweight bath mat, go to the Dollar Store and save yourself money. By far my worst purchase to date on Amazon.

The true Genteele bath mats are the best. Just make sure they have the little circle wheels on the bottom of the mat. I have ordered three different sizes and when ordered 20 x32 I recieve a different brand. Only on this size. Not as thick or cushy. Just make sure of little wheels on bottom for true Genteele. I have another use for this mat, I am a true vegetable gardener and need a mat to kneel on. The true gardening mats are just too thick and hard for me to kneel on. So I use the smallest Genteele mat and it works great. Moist or wet ground does not seep through the mat with the rubber backing. Very cushioning on my 62 yr old knees. They really are the greatest for the bath or any other uses very thick and cushy. The pictures show true Genteele rug size 17 x 24.

I bought this item in September 2019 and loved it. It was what I wanted. In June 2020 I ordered 2 more for other areas in my bathroom. The new ones that came were not the same. The color was different and the quality was not the same at all. They are now very cheaply made. I tried to return in but the sellers said: Health and Personal Care products (cholesterol monitors, glucose monitors, fragrances, thermometry etc.) cannot be returned, but in the item description it states money back guarantee. I am emailed them back with a screenshot with their guarantee and have not heard anything back. I out in a claim with Amazon, but still waiting to hear back on that.

The project is out standing. Color is great, it’s soft, absorbs well, no slip, but I have an issue with how it absorbs. It feels gross to me and I know this is personal issue bc I have a textual problem with it. My wife has no issues and likes it. For me I don’t like walking on it when it’s wet it reminds me of walking on wet grass barefoot. It’s a me thing. If you don’t have issues with it textually the. It’s a good match for you. Btw it dries fast.

Thick memory foam bath mats

Love these bath mats! Our old ones would wet up as soon as you stepped out of the shower but that’s not the case with these- they absorb water well and are nice to stand on after a shower. Nice thick memory foam, bought a second one to match under the sink. Love em. Only downside is it’s a little thick and the door doesn’t slide over them but the door is usually cropped or closed, not open wide so it isn’t a huge downside.

We originally bought a small one for the bathroom half a year ago. It's extremely soft, and the fact that it's machine washable makes this thing PERFECT!
I've gone and ordered two larger ones now, and am using them in my dogs' crates. They offer much more support than a dog bed with comparable price would. I put another cheap dog bed on top of it, so there are two layers of softness for them. If they get dirty, I can simply stuff them in the washing machine, which can't be said for most good quality dog beds.

The rug is just as described, soft, memory foam and non slip (as long as it's used in the bathroom where some moisture will make the rug stick to tiles. I bought one to put in the bathroom and one to put near the bed of my elderly parents. The one in the bed slides a little but its because the area is dryer. Moisten the bottom just a bit and it works like a charm. The look great but have not washed it yet to see how the bottom material holds up. Cant beat it for the price. So far, would buy again.

It's not velvet at all

It isn't velvet and doesn't look like the picture. It looks like some shag rug. I suppose it will work since it's super soft and absorbent. I've had it for several months now, so no point in returning it. It gets dirty with general wear (I don't step on it with shoes or slippers, only bare feet). I know you can't machine wash the non-slip mats without the underside coming undone, and it's too shaggy to vacuum, so I'm not really sure how to clean it for longevity. I suppose it's good for the price if you don't mind replacing it twice a year or so.
