It's Still New, and l Like it, But it's Probably a So-So Replacement for a Bath Rug

I've only had this mat for a day, and I use it in place of a rug, so keep these points in mind as you read this.

First the pros:

The squishy feel when I step on it is delightful.
The creases caused by shipping it folded come out very, very quickly. Don't be concerned about them.
I take nighttime showers, and the mat was completely dry by morning. Keep in mind that I have a very small bathroom, and the heat vent is very good. Time will tell if drying becomes more of an issue when the a/c is on instead of the heat.

The cons:

It does not stick to the floor at all, so I suspect that it could slide around if not for the fact that I always keep a rubberized "mat" (for lack of a better word) under my bathroom rugs.

Once I step out of the shower, it really absorbs the moisture -- and releases it after feet are dry, but you step on it. Hopefully, I'll get used to getting into bed with wet feet, but this might turn out to be a game-changer over time, so it may not actually be a viable replacement for a more standard bathroom rug. Live and learn, I guess.

Absolutely a wonderful mat. It’s soft & offers a great comfort to exhausted feet & legs. My only issue is to whomever mails out the product: wow you guys are grade A idiots! How dumb do you have to be to take something like a bath mat that’s microfiber & soft & memory foam & FOLD IT for shipping! Just because you wanna save on shipping costs or shipping space or whatever else is the reason for such an idea, DOES NOT MEAN YOU GOTTA FOLD IT TWICE in order to send it out. Anyway, when I unfolded it, the mat seperated into 4 pieces & it took a while to flatten it out but put something heavy on it for about a day & it should work. Step on the folded areas as much as possible too. But basically, order this at your own risk. It will arrive folded & with creases that gotta be given time to disappear otherwise it’s a great mat, even for the kitchen since I’m always doing something there so I needed one there too.

The non-slip treatment on the bottom makes an awful sound when you walk on it. The nap of the material leaves footprints... coming and going!! I'm not thrilled with the tan color - it looks like nicotine or tea exploded all over it. It will serve the purpose until I can go shop at a brick and mortar. Apparently, it isn't something you can just pick up on-line.

I bought one of these two months ago. I liked it so much that I wanted another. Upon receiving the new one I realized how much cushion/softness had been lost from the first one. These mats feel excellent out of the box. Unfortunately, this softness does not last. I am really disappointed to find that this is the truth, but it is. I thought that I had found the best bath mat ever, but this reality does not appear to be true for very long. I am so disappointed.

I ordered 4 of the these rugs in beige and I am satisfied with the color and texture but it slides very easily on my tile. I cannot recommend this product for this sole reason, especially considering the exorbitant price! Stay away.

Decent bath mat, it’s soft but not nearly as thick/supportive as expected. As a woman who has to stand for long periods to do hair or makeup, it doesn’t help much with feet fatigue.

I love these memory foam mats. I have several from different companies. Very good quality and the price for the size is great. Only downside is it came folded so I was going to return it because there were creases in the foam. I decided to give it a chance to bounce back and I'm glad I did it looks great. I would definitely recommend it.

Disgusted and Fooled.
Received Amazon Lightning Deal, 1 22x36 mat on August 6, 2018. Nice & 3/4" thick. Wonderful!
Immediately made another order that day for 5 20x32 mats. Fast Shipping, Received August 10th (today); But these mats were much thinner, measuring only a little over 1/4" thick! And NOT 'cushey' wonderful feeling of the first "lightening deal" mat!!!!!! Same tags and everything as the first order - but not same quality! 2 of them had curled over edging. Emailed 2 times to Info@genteele.com, and they replyed via Amazon e-mail...... "And whats the matter, Jean ? :)". This is not funny to me, as all these 3 orders cost me over $150. I want the quality I paid for, not a 'dopey' response. I gave them my phone number in the e-mail, but no one attempted to solve problem and phone me. Just now, looking at so many negative reviews about 'varying quality' thickness of their mats! I am troubled that they can get away with this. Returning defective items is gets old. So many customers complain of these exact same issues for a long time. I do all my shopping on Amazon and love it.
But please Amazon, hold your sellers to their responsibility and ethics to provide quality items and not junk that needs to be returned!
