I am 5'9" and 170. I wear an 8-10 in pants and a 12-14 in hiking pants. I have large thighs and backside, and thick knees. I find most hiking and exercise clothes I have to way up in size to fit my legs and backside, and then the waist is waaaay to big. I researched which athletic pants to get, and saw a few recommendations for 90 Degrees on Amazon at a cheap price. I got a size medium based on some reviews to size down, and this was the right decision. These fit great, no gaps at the waist and no sliding down. I like that the high waist is really high, as most are too low. I feel that there is the right amount of compression and my cellulite doesn't show through. They are pretty long for capris, coming down past mid calf. They are more like Athetica's 7/8 tight length, which I don't like, and I purposefully was looking for a new brand precisely because I wanted a true capris length. But, my biggest complaint is the fabric. My thighs rub together, and there is a loud, very noticeable fabric rub sound! Almost as bad as corduroy! Its loud enough that I will not be wearing these around the house or in public. I MIGHT wear them when I cycle at the gym were my legs don't rub together. I was laughing as I was walking around the house it was so loud. I'm glad I only paid $22.
I ordered a pair of these exact leggings back in February and fell in love. I was so impressed with the material, the quality of the leggings, and how well they wash. They’re fitted and don’t ride down/slip during workouts, but comfortable to just wear around the house/errands too!
I ordered another pair a few days ago (EXACT same, as in, re-ordered from the link in my order history) and they are NOT made from the same material as the other pair. The quality is significantly lower. The fabric is noticeably thinner and has a sheen to it that the other pair doesn’t have. I wore them to a workout this morning and had to pull them up approx 191973 times. So frustrating!! This pair doesn’t hold me in like the original and I don’t imagine they’re going to last after normal wear/washing.
I have numerous 90 degree capris and leggings and love them all. These fit great and I like the fit, would give 5 stars. But.... I have washed these black 90 degrees three times already after trying on and I ended up with black dye all over my hands. They bled horribly and are still bleeds ng black dye all over. That has never happened before. No idea whether or not I’ll be able to actually wear. Have them soaking again and my tub is coal black again. Be careful and check before wearing. Very disappointed!!
I usually wear a small in yoga tights, but I actually despise how tight they are - for reference, I wear a size 4 in pants. I also despise the rise on typical yoga tights because the waistband usually hits a couple of inches below my bellybutton, which is precisely where it needs to hit to accentuate my muffin-top. These yoga tights were phenomenal. I ordered a medium / high waist, hoping they would be a better fit for my comfort and they WERE. These checked all the boxes. The waist sits right at or above my bellybutton, and being a medium, they fit nicely, without binding. I LOVE these tights. I ordered one in two different colors and will probably order more. I highly recommend them!!
I LOVE 90 degree pants. I own multiple pairs and needed a new pair so i bought these. They changed the material for more compression which i personally don't like the feel of it. I've always worn a large but have lost some weight so bought a medium. They fit great, the high waist really holds in my baby pouch from having 2 in 2 years, however, it says capri length. These fit more like 7/8 length. I'm 5'7" so it's not like i'm short and they're just really long on me, sitting just above my ankle. I hope 90 degree didn't change the material in the rest of their line because i am not a fan of it. Returning these and hopefully getting another pair.
Overall, these are pretty good leggings. They are not see through and I think they will hold up. I am an awkward postpartum size right now, so I ordered my normal size medium expecting them to be slightly tighter than I would ideally wear them so they seem very true to size. For reference I am 5’9”, 184lbs and 2 months postpartum. I normally weigh 170lbs. I’m a little disappointed though with the thickness of the material. I was gifted a pair of 90 Degree leggings a few years ago and they were so thick and so comfortable. I have worn them several times a week ever since and they still look practically new, so that is why I wanted to purchase these. I was disappointed to find that it was a different material than my first pair. Thinner and more spandex-y than I was hoping. To be honest I might have picked the wrong pair- I know there are several different styles available. So please don’t let my expectations deter you- these are quality leggings. Overall, I will definitely be keeping these and probably purchasing again in the future.
