So I wanted to love these leggings, and they do have a kind of cool look to them. But they have some issues. First, the fabric is pretty heavy, so if you are looking for that "naked" feel, these are not the leggings for you. I like a more compressive feel, but these didn't really fit the bill, either. I usually wear Medium/8 in most other brands (K-Deer, KiraGrace, Athleta, Teeki, Beyond Yoga, Lulu) but these L from Alo seemed to be a bit big, but the Medium would have been WAY too tight.
The weird thing about these leggings is that even though the fabric is fairly thick, if you bend over and look at your behind in a full length mirror, you will see that these are a bit see through. I thought they were a little big on me and STILL I could see through them in the bottom area. I think the Airbrush legging from Alo is better than these, but I think some of the other brands have mastered the art of preventing the see-through issue a bit better.
Beautiful design. Loved everything about how it looked. However it was so itchy! The panels in the front and fabric itself was very thick and itchy to the skin. I’m really surprised no one has mentioned this before.
I looove this moto style but these leggings are NOT squat proof. I have large hips and thighs from lifting and i just dont think alo yoga makes clothes for this body type.. if I bend over, my underwear is totally visible. I tried sizing up and it helped a little, but the issue remains. Not worth the money. Even though the style is SO cute, I know, go spend your money on something else.
I own these in 4 colors which probably goes without saying that I like them so why the 3 star review because the white pair are sheer and totally see through and for the price it's unacceptable. I still kept them because truth be told I'm yet to find a pair of white leggings that are not sheer. With that said they're very different. I also have them in burgundy, cobalt blue and black. Every one of them is sheer but more so in the white. I teeter between sizes with Alo I can wear a small but also a medium. I'm a size 6 in lulu if that helps. Here's the other thing. If your legs are not super long they might not be the most flattering. I'm 5' 125 lbs athletic build and calves. They are freakishly long but let's face it at 5' I'm used to it. Also the motto print can leave marks on your legs and the horizontal motto stripes can make your legs look wide. I joke about how when I wear the white pair I feel like R2-D2. Or a stumpy storm trouper. Overall these are constructed nicely but I wish the fabric was not sheer but these are so nice because they go from the gym to the street with ease.
