I am 5'0 and purchased the XS (size 8) in black. It is extremely short and baggy, not flattering at all. It is also see through, so make sure you wear leggings/tights under it. Material is soft and it has pockets, but that's all it has going for it. I returned the dress.

Good fit ( I got a large as I prefer things on the loose fitting side).. fabric is thin so it would not leave a lot to the imagination if I got a smaller size for a tighter fit.
