Body length way too long!

I love these Amazon Essentials flannels. They are soft, comfortable and sturdy, and at a price that really can't be beat. The shoulders fit exactly as they should and would be considered true to size. But I really don't know what kind of slenderman they use to figure out their body length because I have bought two of these and they are both way too long, as in the bottom of the shirt goes below your crotch area. I prefer wearing my flannels untucked and I can't with these which is a real shame because I love everything else about them.

Cheap Flannel Shirt that will be adequate for many buyers

Honestly, the only thing that I truly like about this shirt is the price. I have a 43" chest and a 33" waist and normally wear a 44L jacket or suit and almost always a size large shirt or other top. I feel like I'm going to bust a button through the chest of this shirt while the lower torso is fine. If I start going to the gym, I will not be able to wear it. Also, the flannel is very thin and barely brushed. I took a flyer on this shirt and am debating returning it, primarily because of fit. The fabric is so thin that I would only anticipate wearing it beneath a sport coat, sweater or dressier jacket. It definitely is not a beefy, lumberjack style, two pocket, outdoor shirt.

Darker Than Pictured

I purchased this as a gift for my husband. I haven't given it to him yet, so I can't comment on the fit. However, the color of the shirt is much darker in person. The picture posted on Amazon looks like a brighter, almost kelly green, but in reality it's a darker green, more like a hunter green.

These are supposed to be slim fitting. I guess they figure for each X, they should add 4 inches to the circumference. I'm 6', 250 lbs and I wear a XXL in everything. These things are like dresses for me.

I'm 6' 3" and 195 lb. The XL Slim fit is very good. It's roomy enough for activity but doesn't feel like a tent, and the arm length is good. But I'm disappointed in the color. I ordered the blue and white which appears light blue on my screen. I'd been looking for a pale blue flannel check for some time so I was excited to find this shirt in my size. Unfortunately, it's much darker in reality, more like navy.

Pattern doesn’t match up with the buttons

Overall, this is a pretty comfortable shirt and it fits as I expected. However, the plaid pattern doesn’t match up where the buttons meet, which means I won’t be wearing this unless it’s underneath of a quarter zip or something similar.

This was one of my first experiences with Amazon Essentials clothing and I had high hopes, but I’m definitely a bit disappointed. This would have been a definite win if the consistency was better.

It's fine for the price. However, lands end's flannel shirt is much superior, softer, more durable, just obviously blatantly superior, and is the same price! The catch is the lands end shirt is only the same price due to their frequent 50Percent off sales. So if you gotta have a shirt right now I guess this is fine. If you can wait, though, forget it, this shirt is just not good value for the money.
