These towels are shedding a lot of Lent even after three washings! Even though they are thick they are not very absorbent. When I dry myself there is lint all left all over my skin when I wipe down the shower there’s lint all over the shower it’s pretty bad. I am hoping a few more washings will take care of this but I have never had this problem with towels before. Also I don’t like the fact that they called them American Women when they are made in turkey.

Don't absorb water

These towels are nice and thick and soft, but they don't absorb water. That's the one job they have! How can a company make towels out of 100% cotton that don't absorb water, and then sell them? Don't they test their products before they put them on the market? I guess they can get away with it because people like me are too lazy to return them. Maybe this problem with change as they wear in?

They initially looked nice and are soft; however, after washing for the first time, threads are loose on the edges, making them look worn out. I followed the washing instructions provided in the packaging, including drying on low; however, they still came out looking ratty. Disappointed and would not recommend if you are looking for hand towels that may be viewed by guests.

The towels are long and thick. The huge downside is that the fibers keep coming off and making a mess. Before using them, I washed them 3 times and ran them through the dryer 7 times trying to get off all of the lint/ loose fibers. I can still shake them out and have lint balls fall.

The quality is pretty poor even for the lower price point. I have $8 towels from target that are better quality and more soft. Towels arrived with threads combining loose and are pretty flat, even after washing. I wouldn't buy again and plan to return the ones I did buy. There are better products out there for this price.

I bought two more sets of towels recently after buying a set a while back to see if I liked them. First ones were great, however, these two sets have some discoloring in them. This is after the first wash. No, I don’t use bleach at all with my laundry and didn’t use fabric softener. Other than that they are good towels. Seems like I got a defective batch. Which sucks considering these towels aren’t cheap.
