so I’m a guy and I was sick of having towels that had that mildew smell even after washing them with ungodly amounts of detergent so i realized after stealing a white towel from a hotel that if i just buy all white towels i can bleach them and have clean towels all the time

i found these here on Amazon, they are highly rated and have a million reviews so i bought em. almost $50 for 4 towels wow, i've never paid for towels, the towels i've been using just appear at my parents house in every color in infinite amounts. anyway i was stoked because i hate sour smelling towels that smell awful even after a wash so i dove right in after they were delivered

as soon i got these i threw them in the wash without any detergent then threw them in the dryer. oh my god they left a lot of lint in the dryer but they were brand new towels so i let it slide. i took my first shower with them and they left white lint all over me especially in places i won't mention here but you can use your imagination

i repeated the process this time with strong bleach and threw them in the dryer. it seems like they left even more lint in the dryer lint catcher tray, like an impressive amount of white lint in the dryer lint catcher. like the amount of hair you'd have after shaving a full grown adult guinea pig

still, after drying myself after a shower, the towels left lint in all the areas you don't want to know about and on top of that the towels throw white lint in the air and attach themselves to any article of clothing that is even a little black. ugh. i repeated the wash and dry process but each time is worse than the last. huge lint ball left in dryer lint catcher and lint gets left all over the body and clothes. 4 wash and drys later and i've had enough man. returned em to amazon, got a refund, and am on the look out for a new set of white towels. these towels are soft and fluffy but that's all they have going for them. they suck!

Nice towels

I have been looking for a few months for nice towels that won't break the bank and will last for a few years. I decided to give this set of towels a chance, ordered 1 set of them followed the directions pulled them out of the bag, shook them out and put in washer (i have a towel setting on mine). Dried them (cleaned the lint tray out couple of times while they were drying). They came out nice and fluffy with a definite increase in volume on them. Used them for a week or 2 before deciding to take the plunge in purchasing more, we did and at first we had issues using the 10% off next purchase. Got in contact with seller and within a few days code was working. We have sent the towels through several washings and dryings and so far so good. As you can see in attached pictures they fluff up really nice. That was after 1 washing

UPDATE: I ordered the towels on July 13th (2021)and received them on July 16th or17th washed following instructions. The towels have been used 2 to 3 at the most and have already started following apart. Company has been notified and I will change the star rating once they respond . I am really disappointed they are already falling apart with very little use.
NEW UPDATE: I was in contact with the seller and they took care of the issue that we were having by sending new one. So star rating has been put back to 5 star. Replacement towels were received today and will be running them through laundry right away.

I looked at towels at Bed Bath & Beyond but was dismayed at their prices - even on sale. So - I looked on Amazon and read A LOT of reviews. These towels seemed worth the risk based on reviews and I was not disappointed. They did not shed a lot of lint during the first wash and they have remained soft through numerous washings thus far. I was going for soft more so than absorbency.....I get the correlation between the 2. For the price, these towels are a good buy and provided what I wanted.....softness.

UPDATE: After a month of using these towels I went ahead and bought a second set. Same thing, I washed and dried about 3 times before the lint started to subside. But for all the punishment my sons put them through, they have lasted with no frays or tears. A couple of weeks ago I cheaped out and bought a different brand for a few dollars less..... WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Nowhere near as thick or soft, we didn't bother opening the package.

I am now returning those and buying my third set of these towels.

ORIGINAL REVIEW
Just got these today. I took a risk with these because I can't find any towels in turquoise with really high number of reviews (not ratings). The poor reviews about lint are true! We immediately washed and dried, cleaning the lint filter three times! I was warned.

Also, I feel the color was off, not as deep as in the photos. They are thick and seem to hold up in the wash, I will update accordingly.

I am not sure how these towels get 5 and 4 star reviews. I guess it depends what towels you have used in your life. When these are advertised as SPA Quality, I am not sure what or what kind of spa they are comparing these too. I have gel towels that were night and day softer and plusher than than these at hotels and spas in various countries. These are not comparable to LUXURY towels like some reviews have stated, not even close to luxury towels. I am not saying these are bad towels, these are good towels for the money and if you are looking for better than average “commercial” grade towels then you will like these. The only reason I gave it 3 stars because they were advertised like luxury spa towels, which they are not.
