This is a pair of lovely agate bookends purchased for my bonus daughter for Christmas. She loved them. The color is rich and bright, and the stones themselves are beautiful. I gave 5 stars for "lightweight", because I felt they were the right weight for the product. In truth, they are quite hefty, and probably weigh around 7 pounds, which should be expected for stones of this size. I am very happy with the purchase.

Love these. They’re beautiful! I got the natural color. Clear with some orange & brown. Beautiful on their own to display or used as bookends. I thought it was funny that, the company wants to know if it’s light enough. They are ROCKS!!! Of course, they’re heavy! Not too heavy. If they weren’t somewhat heavy, you couldn’t call them bookends.

These look pretty much like the picture. There will be variations of course because this is a naturally occurring material. One of the categories I had to rate it on is "Light weight." No, they are not light weight, they are bookends. Why I had to rate that is beyond me. At any rate, if they look nice to you then get them, I can't see how anyone would be disappointed.

These are just as pretty as the picture. I wondered if I’d receive a weaker color with a claim that “each was unique”. Not the case! They’re just heavy enough. I wouldn’t use them for a ton of books, but say 7 hardbacks should be fine; ten may be pushing it if the books are large.

The blue agate bookends I received arrived in perfect condition and are STUNNING. For the $ I was expecting something far less exciting. I use them as CD "ends" and they are just right for that purpose. I have several sets of 5-6 lb. agate bookends, but they were too bulky for merely holding CDs from falling over. I am glad to report my total satisfaction with these stones.

I was a skeptic as to if these would really look as beautiful in person. They do! And are weighty enough to be good bookends. If you are going to use for large hardcovers, I would go a size up. Otherwise these are exactly as advertised and quite lovely.
