I ordered this in the middle of the night for a present. It came within 24 hours since I'm in the city. The other impressive part of this product review is that the geode looks so much like the photo! My friend is going to enjoy their birthday gift. Side note: Part of the review ask if it's "light weight", of course not. I ordered a heavy weight geode to help hold books up right. The weight feels great. I would recommend.

These are good and nice, but beware misinterpreting the description- they weight refers to the combined weight of two of them. I can't imagine that except the largest two sizes these are good as bookends as they would be too light. I have the 2nd largest size and they... just do... because of the helpful adhesive rubber foot pads they include. If I could redo I would order the largest size.

Love these. They’re beautiful! I got the natural color. Clear with some orange & brown. Beautiful on their own to display or used as bookends. I thought it was funny that, the company wants to know if it’s light enough. They are ROCKS!!! Of course, they’re heavy! Not too heavy. If they weren’t somewhat heavy, you couldn’t call them bookends.

I chose 2 pair of natural agate bookends based on the variance in shades and colors pictured. One set was solid crystal all the way through with no or very little variance in color or shade. The other set had some very little variance. Perhaps I should have chosen the dyed sets, but many reviews stated that color rubbed off.
I understand that the pictured item was not going to be exactly what I received but I don't feel that the rocks I received were agates either.
A simple case of see and try before buy.
The weight and polish on the bookends was as described.

Not sure if my initial review was posted but I am so sorry if it was. Upon comparing with other agate bookends, these are quite outstanding. Yes there was a slice missing, but I've since found out that's because it cracked along a natural fissure. Only thing I dropped a star for was the lack of the felt guards. Again, they are beautiful and well worth purchasing.

These looked nothing like the picture. I was going for deep golds and amber colors. These are generic gray. Could have broken a rock in my back yard and got same thing.
