I emailed early that I had not received my geodes. They were delivered as stated on Sunday. My seven year old grandson received them and put them aside and forgot to tell anyone. He heard me today saying I have not received the package. He walked into my room and said this box might be yours Grammy... Very happy with them. They are a beautiful gift!

Pretty cool, been wanting blue geode bookends forever. My grandma had a pair that I looovvved when I was a kid lol. These aren't as good as he's were, but they're still cool for an affordable price. Of course one of the coolest things about geodes is that you never know what will be inside, so every pair is different. But here are the two sides of each of mine, plus a close-up of some little crystals inside. There's also some weird cross-layers in mine that look crusty and odd... never seen that before (if it wasn't so blue I might be able to figure out what mineral that is). But anyway, I think they're pretty neat!

These look pretty much like the picture. There will be variations of course because this is a naturally occurring material. One of the categories I had to rate it on is "Light weight." No, they are not light weight, they are bookends. Why I had to rate that is beyond me. At any rate, if they look nice to you then get them, I can't see how anyone would be disappointed.

The first one I ordered came smashed into pieces. The replacement was in much better condition upon arrival. Great quality and the polish on the faces is excellent. This makes a great mantle piece! All in all not that impressed with the jagged edges that are sharp.

The outside surface is not very sturdy. Some debri falls off every time I touch it. The powder blue color rubs off on my hands and falls onto the book shelf. The finish should have been more clean.
