I ordered the 3-4 lb. stones in natural. I received them very quickly and they were packaged very nicely. They are very large (mine are 6 inches tall)! There are some amazing natural formations on the unpolished sides and the polished sides are just lovely. Mine has browns, black, clear and hints of a grey blue. And there is little geode formation in the center filled with tiny, shiny crystals. I love the way they look on my desk! They are better quality than I had expected with such a great price. I haven't tried them with books yet but they should be able to hold some good weight. They also give you little bumpers to apply to the bottom to help keep them in place. My bumpers were in the bottom of the box so if you order these make sure to check! I am very satisfied with my order. I would highly recommend!

These are gorgeous and I would still buy then again, I just wish they were a little bigger/heavier because they don't really hold the books up, really more for aesthetics and not really for doing what they were made to do.
