They look nice but not warm enough for skiing on a cold day. I wear them on a walks when it is low 40th upper 30th. The knee area is flexible so they may be good for hiking or skiing on a warm day, but they keep sliding down the hips making it uncomfortable for long walks. Also, I would prefer softer pants, these one kind of stiff
These pants were hanging off my waist and snug on the thigh. So anytime I lifted my knee the pants would pull down and leave my butt exposed. I would need a belt (not the ghetto one it came with) nerve punching tight to keep them up. Not built for big butt, big thigh, thin waist girls. I’m bummed out because they would’ve been awesome for winter hiking if they fit correctly. I had tried my friends on and she had ordered men’s and I think those would fit much better because the leg room.
I’ve been looking for a skinny snow pants that’s not bulky. This one definitely suits what I need. However, while the small fits me but mobility may be constricted, I kept the medium as they’re more functional, but the fit is not as nice. I haven’t tried it in the snow yet, but will find out.
I'm 5'11 so it's important for me to find a good pair of pants that are long enough. They definitely weren't. I usually wear between a medium and a large. I saw some other reviews and decided that I should get a large. These pants were too tight for me. I was expecting them to be a pinch loose (I wanted to use these for layering something underneath them) and while they fit (way more snug than I wanted), there's no way I could use these comfortably. These are definitely for people who are way skinnier and want a form-fitting, more tight fit.
I have a trip to Alaska in January I need a pair of pants for. I ordered these and another similar pair on Amazon, both in a medium. I am 5-7, 145lbs and these were too big on me. I considered exchanging for a small but the other pair I got fits perfect. For the money these seem like good pants and I like the little zipper up front. The closer on the waist is just a clasp which I am not a fan of but would deal if everything else worked.
Guess you never know until you get it an try it on. The pants length is good . They were loose at the waist so I was happy that there are belt loops and a belt. But there just isn't enough room in the seat to actually sit comfortably. I thought they would stretch a bit but they don't stretch enough to allow good movement for hiking and skiing. Large would have been way too big at the waist.
I was really looking forward to a slim fitted snow pant. However, the sizing is awkward. The small was too big around the waist at the back, so I exchanged for an x-small which was incredibly tight in the thigh area and still loose at the back of the waist. I am 5”1 and 128lbs. If the waist was designed just a bit higher than where it falls closer to the hip, I do t think this would be a problem. Defect in design really. Fabric was well made and the fleece lining was super warm. Still looking for snow pants.....
I liked the quality of the pants, however, the sizing did not work for me, thus I am returning them. I am 5'4", waste 33", hips 44" and usually buy size 12 pants or L. These pants are straightly cut, not curvy and the material is not stretchy. It would have been nice to have a sizing chart, rather than rely on customers' comments to figure out what size to order.
I used these pants at a football game that was very wet. These pants got soaked and the water went through them. Very disappointing because I was hoping for WATER PROOF pants. They were also not loose enough to put boots under or tight enough to put boots over them so my pants did this werid bunching at the bottom right above my boots. They look very nice and were pretty warm. They are just not water proof.
I had to return them because even though I liked them very much they were falling off while I was skiing which made them very uncomfortable. I was expecting a way to adjust the waist. I'm not particularly skinny and I have recently gained weight, so my waist is not particularly thin. I would have kept them if they had a belt or a way to adjust the waist.
