How are ratings calculated?
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.

The waist is very low and size is small even with leggings. Should have returned them.

3.0 out of 5 stars fit comfortably loose with room for leggings or thin thermals

Size Name: MediumColour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
I'm almost 5'4" and 130lbs. bought medium..fit comfortably loose with room for leggings or thin thermals. warmer than jeans
but not warm enough for 40 degrees or under for more than 10 mins of brisk walking. Definitely need leggings for optimal, long-term warmth.
High waisted but tolerable, comfortable, not constricting. Comes with accent belt. Overall, pants are nice.

3.0 out of 5 stars Partly great, partly awful...
Reviewed in the United States on 27 December 2019

When I first received these & tried them on, I immediately thought I'd return them. I'm a size 8/10 & ordered a medium. The legs were almost too tight to bend my knees comfortably, but the waist is WAY too loose (and the included belt is a cheap piece of useless elastic garbage).
I decided to keep them & wore them a few times when I knew I'd be able to change clothes if needed. The legs loosened up a bit, but I have to use another belt with them or keep yanking them up throughout the day.

I also intended to occasionally wear them over a pair of *very* thin thermal leggings on really cold days -- but given the way they fit, that simply isn't possible.

It's a weird dichotomy of being way too tight in some places, and way too loose in others. Also very high quality in some elements, and very cheaply made in others. One of the zippers on a pocket has already broken, after merely a week of occasional use -- and almost never using the pockets.

They're ok for brief periods of outdoor exercise in moderate temperatures. I'll keep them for dog walking & travel, but they definitely weren't what I was expecting.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not cut for athletic legs
Reviewed in the United States on 24 November 2019

I ordered a Large, despite generally being a medium. Based on the measurements provided, the large should have been a lovely fit-- roomy, even. But the measurement that's so rarely provided is the one that always gets me: thighs. I have Thighs. Capital THIGHS thighs. Big, muscly, thick thighs. and while these pants fit my thighs, they were tight, and with a fabric that doesn't give (because it's windproof), it made physical activity (in my case, a 3 hour bike ride) uncomfortable and difficult.

They were, however, windproof. My legs did get cold duringthe 3 hour 40ish degree ride, but they also got sweaty, and ultimately the stiff exterior started squeaking against my saddle.

All in all, if you do not have THIGHs, and you aren't using these for extended physical activity, I'm sure these are lovely. However if you're an athlete, and you have THIGHs, and you're doing something other than walking in them, they aren't worth it.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not waterproof!!
Reviewed in the United States on 17 March 2022
Size Name: MediumColour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
The medium pair (I ordered in black) fit better at the waist (my waist is 29". I had room to wear leggings underneath and tuck my sweater in), but was tight around the legs, meaning it wouldn't fit OVER a pair of ski boots, and instead had to be tucked.

The large pair (I ordered in pink) was looser at the waist (which means if you slide through snow you may get snow down your pants), allowed more mobility around the knees for bending and manuvearability, but calf area still doesn't fit OVER ski boots.

These worked ok as a pair of pants for hiking through snow, but not a good idea for downhill skiing.

Thee pants aren't waterproof, barely water resistant at best. The melted snow came right through the material and soaked my butt on the ski lift chairs

I would have returned it, but I missed the return window.

3.0 out of 5 stars Too big? Too small? Both

I had to return these, and was super bummed. The material is fantastic and sturdy, and i bought them because they were waterproof and not bulky like most snow pants... But the sizing was just off. I'm 5'3 and about a 138 lbs. I have a small waste and a thick bottom half, so I bought a medium. The thigh area was just a little bit too snug but not uncomfortable, but the waist was so large it didn't come into contact with my skin above my butt crack. About 3 inches of extra waistband back there. If they'd make a higher-rise elastic wasteband, big booty girls can buy their pants.

3.0 out of 5 stars Most awkward fit
Reviewed in the United States on 17 January 2022

Let me start with the good, the quality of fabric seems really good and after a bathroom sink test of how waterproof they are I’m confident that my bum would stay fairly dry after hours of snowboarding. However that’s where the good ends.

THE BAD:
The fit is just ridiculously awkward. I don’t know why they’re designed like this, but unless you intend on wearing a king sized pillow on your bum to soften the falls these pants are not for you. I have thick thighs and my bum, love handles and stomach most definitely aren’t skinny. While I usually wear large, ordered extra large to ensure that I can wear my thermals underneath. XL barely fits over my calves and thighs without thermals, but you could fit another me in there in the waist area.

3.0 out of 5 stars Plumber's crack
Reviewed in the United States on 16 March 2021

Gosh, wish these were as roomy in the rear as in the front! I wear a 12-14, tall to just regular curvy. I bought the L and they fit tight but not encumbering movements, the waist itself is roomy. They look really good on, BUT when you bend, the rear rides all the way down to the crack of your tush, which will get cold and wet in the snow. There is not enough material with the tight stretch, no way ANY belt will keep them from riding down (especially the really dinky one supplied) Maybe they could spend more on material in the rear and leave out that silly belt? Sorry to return them.

3.0 out of 5 stars Not for women with a booty
Reviewed in the United States on 13 January 2022

After having lots of difficulty finding stretchy snow pants in hopes of fitting over my butt, thighs and hips-I thought these could work. They fit, but not in a way that would be okay for snow activities. The pants are above my belly button yet barely cover my butt, they literally decline front to back and in the back the waist sticks out 3 inches, yet fits my thighs. I am 5'4, 145lbs, curvy athletic build, I got a large based on reviews-if the back was longer they might have worked I simply cannot use these for snowboarding like I had hoped, my fall and I'd have one snow filled ass....

3.0 out of 5 stars Made for a teenage boys body
Reviewed in the United States on 20 November 2021
Size Name: LargeColour Name: BlackVerified Purchase
These snow pants were too tight in the thighs and lower half of the butt. The waist was extremely loose, like not even a belt could help that. I’m 5’8, 170 lbs, Coke bottle curves and ordered the Large. These pants seems to be cut for a teenage boy; not for a woman. Unless you are bone skinny and you order the small or shaped like an apple and order the large, these snow pants aren’t going to fit you right. They look super cute not on and the inside is super soft. They appear to be durable. So if you think they will fit your shape then go for it.
