This is my second pair of the same exact jean. The first jean, I absolutely loved the fit and style. The length of 27S was perfect for me at 5’1 and 105-110#. Then within a month of only wearing to work on casual Friday the beautiful white stitching started unravelling. I returned them and purchased this second pair from Amazon because the place I originally purchased no longer had 27S in stock. Received these yesterday and they are WAY too long. All the tags say 27S. I have another pair of Ariats that are 27S and they are also long. Even with Danskos and boots. I took them to an alteration shop this morning. So if you are short, and buy these, plan to spend another $10 to get them altered.
Soooo I have now purchased these twice... First pair were wayyyyy too long! I had ordered 32 reg. I'm 5'2 about 160 lbsi just cut off about 4inches off the bottom... Jeans are fantastic would give it 5 stars if it hadn't been for the SMELL!?!? THEY SMELLED LIKE RAW SEWAGE! LITERAL POOP! I washed them twice and soaked them once and they still smell a lil bad I'm thinking one more wash will get it out! The second pair did not stink but I just got them today and haven't tried them on yet.
I am not sure if I will be keeping these or not. They are super cute in the waist, and through the thighs (my problem area), but a little snug in the tush (and I even ordered slightly larger than I thought I should based on reviews) but wow, these are way more like bell bottoms than bootcut. If they were just a little wide, I wouldn't stress, but these are quite wide AND long (I ordered Regular length). For reference, I am 5'7", 155 lbs, small in the waist, have a tush, thicker through the thighs and calves.
I was so excited about this Jean. It looked the kind of Jean that I like , and it is even better looking in person, BUT , I ordered size 34R which according with the size chart it will be a size 18.. but way no, it looks like 14, maybe 16.
I really liked the material and look except that the boot cut appears way too much like a bell bottom on me. I am 5'2" and about 115lbs. I ordered the 27S and they were a little looser than I would prefer and still a bit on the long side, which probably added to my feeling the bottoms were too wide. I am returning and will try some of the Ariat straight leg styles in a 26S instead.
According to the size chart, I should wear a 28. I bought a 27 and it fits pretty well. They are still a touch looser than I prefer. The problem I have is that these were not the jeans I ordered. I really wanted 100% cotton jeans, but since none were available, I looked through all of them and found one with only 1% spandex. Those are the ones I ordered, but when they arrived, they were 2% spandex and marked as stretch denim. I despise spandex! I didn't return them because I desperately needed jeans, but I won't re-order. Apparently, they've gone the way of all other good jeans. So sad!
I thought I would give these a try since the listing said Prime - free shipping and returns, but I was charged $5 to return them. They are cute but WAY too tight for me and also lower rise than I expected. I am 5' 7",150 lbs, all legs with a really short waist, and usually wear a 10. I could barely get into the 29 size, which the chart says is a 10. Not going to risk trying a 30 since I'd have to pay another $5 to return them if they don't work out.
I am 5'2" and 120 lbs- ordered a size 27S and they fit me around the waist and butt PERFECTLY. The only complaint I have is that the further down the leg goes, the looser it is. It's not flattering at all. I don't know if it is because I bought a short but they make me feel short and stubby. I wear them to work in instead of to go out in.
I should have listened to other reviews. Yes this is a good quality jean. No, it's not low rise and even says mid rise on the packaging when you get it. Straight out false advertising. What does the manufacturing world have against the low rise jeans that they forced us to get accustomed to?
I'm 5ft 10 and I got the size " 34 long". Definetly long enough and I appreciate the length. But these Jean's are loose in the butt and leg area. They do not hug your body like the pictures show. Not very flattering, but good horseback riding pants none the less.
