I liked the look of these bootcut jeans specifically to ride in. However the photo is a little misleading as they are quite baggy and not fitted in the upper part of the leg as expected. The quality is fine but overall too lose to comfortably ride in.
This review is coming from a husband that bought these for his wife as a gift. Her preferred denim jean brand is Silver and she normally wears a 29" boot cut. I ordered these ARIAT jeans in 29" but she found the legs to be overly long. We exchanged for 28" short in the same style and it's a much better fit for her. She likes that they're a bit stretchy and elastic, but did comment that she thinks the area behind the knee is a bit large and baggy. She likes the style and I think they look good on her, but this is coming from a guy who isn't into fashion or particular "styles". I asked her what she thought they might be worth to gauge if they're a good value. She said they were worth "$40 to $50" so I guess the expected value is right in line with the real-world price.
I love these jeans, they fit where it matters but as far as the length- I am 5'3" and these are 4 inches too long (at least). That is not a pair of jeans for someone short. I am going to have to have them hemmed before I can wear them otherwise, I will be walking on them!
