This is fantastic for blocking an unwanted view. I bought 2; the one pictures hides a car park and road out the front. I wanted some glass to stay clear so I trimmed around the printed shape before peeling from the sheet it came on, I preferred a more natural edge than a straight cut. It’s been there a few years now and I love it. It’s not even a consideration when the window’s cleaned either, no trouble at all👍🏼

Looks lovely - you do have to follow the instructions and keep the windows a little soapy and wet to stick on. It's made out of a rubbery plastic that sucks on to the glass which is great should you fancy a change. Quality is better in real life than photos.

Absolutely delighted with this product! I heeded previous customer reviews... My window was small enough for one piece to cover it. I didn’t cut to true size and instead added 5cm to my measurements to prevent shrinkage problems. I saturated the window with slip solution (spray bottle containing cold water and a drop of washing up liquid) and after I removed the cardboard backing, I also sprayed the side of the film which would touch the window. I was then able to glide the film into place easily. I sprayed the back of the film and used the squeegee (included) to firmly press a T pattern out towards the edges, pushing out bubbles and water with ease. I then followed the vertical line of the T downwards, firmly pushing out the bubbles from the centre to the edges. Using the squeegee, I pressed the edges firmly against the window frame and used the squeegee to guide my sharp Stanley knife to cut the film to a perfect fit. It took a bit of time and patience, as the film is quite thick. I then ran around the edges with kitchen roll to soak up any remaining liquid and remove corner bubbles. Job done relatively quickly! Really pleased with the result. No bubbles and no shrinkage using this method. The film gives complete privacy to the door at the back of my carport, you cannot see through it, except for very blurred patches of light and dark if you press your nose to the window. The image is the same colour and texture on both sides. The look and colour density depends entirely on your light source in front of and behind the window. Please see my photos. Ordered wrong size - as needed 30 x 150cm but managed to cut in half and cut around slightly to match at bottom - covered cracked glass nicely and had spare for a vase !
