Villeroy & Boch exquisitely bridges past, present and future with this pattern inspired by copper engraved designs from the turn of the last century. Pastoral scenes in black and white have been freshened up by a creamy yellow accent border and other graphic ornamentations. 4 patterns together yields a strong fashion statement to dress up your table or hang decorative plates on the wall. Audun is a small village in what is now the Lorraine provence of France and was the first pottery set up by the Boch members of the family. How fitting that Villeroy & Boch introduced this pattern on the occasion of the company's 250th anniversary.

Villeroy & Boch's Audun collection breathes new life into a chapter of the company’s history. In 1748, François Boch set up a small pottery in the small village of Audun-le-Tiche and in doing so laid the foundation for a global company. The early days over 250 years ago are reflected in this decor's beautiful pictures.
Copperplate in shades of dark gray and fresh yellow
Portrayed in a copperplate style, this porcelain tells stories of rural life – hay making, animal husbandry and arable farming were part of daily working life back then. Combined with graceful, floral ornaments and a soft yellow and grey, romantic-looking crockery comes to light that is calming and incredibly versatile.
Audun is the relaunch of the original, same-named décor from 1830. The copperplate technique revolutionized the design possibilities of porcelain then. Today, dark gray colored copperplate paintings with fresh shades of yellow bear witness not only to good taste, but also to high-quality lithography: landscapes as a reminder of the past.
