In a moment of weakness, I bought two of these probably based only on price Upon washing it's obvious they are pure cotton which a.) Shrinks, and b.) Needs pressing. They come out of the dryer in terrible shape. (no care label attached). Go for something more expensive with some polyester, perhaps stain resistance. Strings are good and sound and sturdy, but the front is not satisfactory for wearing in retail environment without ironing, and probably starching. Cloth seems very absorbent. I'll use them for window washing.

I love this apron, not only is it durable and made with high quality cotton material, the type that jeans were made of in the 70's, had a white pair of jeans for band, and when I opened this apron to try it on, it brought back memories. I can not wait to cook something with it on, which will happen this evening. I like the tie, it is what shoe strings are made of. I am 5'8", 36 waist , so you can see from the photo, it has a good length and width, the tie is wrapped around my waist and tied at the front, I can't wait to get them airbrushed. I would highly recommend this apron, I got 2, one for the kitchen and one for grilling.

Very happy with this product. The fabric is 100% cotton and is soft and light. I prefer a lighter fabric over the poly/cotton stiff twills that are out there. I embroidered it, then washed it and it came out great. Yes, it is cotton and needs to be pressed. But for anyone who actually uses an apron when cooking, you will understand why cotton beats polyester every time. For anyone who is embroidering, I used Terial Magic as the stabilizer and it worked perfectly. My one and only complaint is that the neck band is not adjustable. But for this price, I can get over it. I will be purchasing many more.
