Still No Fading or Shrinkage!

I'm 5'9" and approx. 240 lbs. and am putting this info in for you heavy gals because that was info I looked for and wasn't included in a lot of reviews, which I can understand.

I purchased the Blue nighty maybe a week ago in XX2 and it fits great! It's loose at the hips which is my problem which is good because I can't sleep in a tight nighty. Because I'm tall, the nighty hits me approx. mid-calf (wish there had been a tall option).

I haven't washed it yet which is why I only gave it 4 Stars. If any shrinkage or problems, I'll let you know but if not, I'll order more in the red (burgundy) and black -- and I'll change my rating to 5 Stars!

UPDATE 1/31/2020: The vibrant blue color did not fade at all - just fyi.

UPDATE 4/23/2022: This gown has been washed lots of time since I originally purchased it several years ago, and it still has neither faded in color nor shrunk. I've lost about 50lbs since I purchased it so it's more roomy now, which is fine with me. I never bought any other colors because this one has worked so well for me. I would highly recommend these gowns to anyone unless you're very short. As stated above, I'm 5'9" and the XXL hit me mid-shin below the knee, which was fine with me. If it's really cold weather, I just wear socks.

Maybe the most versatile pajamas I have ever owned. I literally was soo comfortable wearing this! I played around 1 day and three a belt on it and wore it to work as a dress! It was amazing! Fabric is great! Very soft! My only downside is that is was slightly bigger than I thought it would be. I still loved it though!

The picture is a bit dark. This is the dark blue one. I am happy with the XL: I’m 5’3” with a heavier pear shape, and it is somewhat concealing. The fabric is super soft and comfy and I love the blue tie dye.

There was a quality control issue with the one that was delivered today, but even though I am returning it, I have already ordered two more. I have extremely sensitive skin and can’t sleep if I feel even the slightest texture. A scratchy tag or a stiff thread poking me somewhere will keep me up all night. This gown is the perfect smooth, soft fabric that I need for a good night’s sleep. It’s long, which I like, and the colors are exactly like the pictures.

In my case, one of the pockets was sewn too small and had a large hole where the seams didn’t meet. I couldn’t put my whole hand in the pocket. The second issue was that the tie dye made a perfect bullseye right over my rear end. I can’t walk around with a target on my butt. I wouldn’t feel comfortable wearing that, but I’m hoping the others I ordered don’t have these issues. I love the fabric and style and hope to be living in them in the future!

Size and color not as expected

I returned the first nightgown because it was too large, even though I had used the size chart. I then ordered a size smaller and it is fine. It is still loose, as I like in a nightgown, but a much better fit & very comfortable. Washes nicely although after drying I did hang it for a while to finish drying the pockets. The color was not as expected. The blue was actually navy and the lake blue is a more muted color than shown. The length is great since I like a longer gown. However, the sleeves are shorter than pictured, but adequate.

This is not a nightgown n any sense. But I bought it for a dress. It feels like polyester spandex, which I dislike. Very stretchy and BIG. Didn't they say to buy my size? XL was a caftan! It flowed forward and backward when I tried it on. It liked to doing to my stomach and hips when I moved. It showed my cellulite! 😳
The color was nice, but no way. Not silky, not the right size. You can't tell in the pic. But I tried. It is long enough for 5'6".

I got the XX Large in Black. Not real soft, but it's fine. Weight of material is medium. The fit in the bosom if you are a little bigger as I am is kind of snug but material stretches. In one of the questions above they asked if they needed to wear a bra well I would say if you are just sleeping in it or lounging around the house yes, but to answer the door no. It's not see thru though. If you have cats or dogs their fur will stick to it if you get black. All in all, it's okay for around the house. I do love the length.
