To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
I had high hopes for this, but: I was skeptical of the sizing, and ordered L rather than M for 38C. (I'm a size 20 at Walmart and a size 14 at Nordstrom's, so I figure that sizing charts can't be trusted.) It seemed to fit and felt as if it provided a reasonable amount of support, but: 1) As soon as I moved, the elastic rolled up to form a string-cheese sized lump around my torso. I have enough trouble with lumps (possibly due to consumption of too much string cheese) without my clothes creating extra ones, thank you very much. 2) The fabric between the breasts is held about half an inch away from the body. I didn't quite get the "dreaded uniboob" as another reviewer so aptly dubbed it, but it was hardly a promising foundation for clothing.
The fit on this was a bit weird. The length of the straps are a bit long, the length of the band (around my back) is fine, but the cup size is smaller than expected. I was unsure of the sizing on these bras, so I went to a local department store to try on. I found the large to be a bit small, but the X-Large seemed to fit well. This sizing on this bra was definitely smaller in the cup size. Had these bras been on sale at the department store, I would have bought one there. I also bought the version without the "soft cup" through Amazon. That one fits as expected. While this is comfortable in the sense that there's no wire, it's uncomfortable because of the fit. I'm constantly having to make adjustments. It's ok for hanging around the house or low-key weekend stuff. But I can't wear it in a social or professional environment.
I’m only keeping this because it isn’t worth the hassle of returning it. The sizing chart wasn’t accurate for me, as the bra is way too small even though I’m directly in the “small” sizing on the chart. The built-in pad is very thin, yet the outline is still visible through a shirt. I’ll keep it to wear around the house, but I couldn’t wear it in public unless it was under something baggy.
This was not what I had expected. I normally wear a medium. That’s what I ordered. This is more like a sports bra. It is super tight, & flattens my breasts which are between a 34b & c. The area below the cups is too long, so it rolls up. I do not recommend this product. I had expected a seamless, comfortable bra. Not even close.
The concept is good but there is no way to adjust the straps to increase the "lift." After wearing a couple of times, I stitched a tuck in each strap but now it rubs uncomfortably on my shoulders. This wasn't a good purchase for me.
I wear wire free in other brands, and wanted to try another brand. I have worn Bali before. The bra for the size did not fit well, felt cheaply made, and simply wasn't what I expected at all. I returned it and will not buy again.
This bra, while looking nice out of the package, gave me one big flattened uniboob. There is no separation to keep them apart. Just plain horrible looking. Maybe if you are small busted, it may work, but for me, it is not a winner. Keeping it to wear around the house.
I wasn’t expecting great support from a “comfort” bra and I was optimistic when I first put it on. Alas, after about an hour the straps had stretched and the girls were sagging (I’m a 42b). So, it is slightly better than nothing and plenty comfortable for lounging, but I wouldn’t wear it out of the house.
The bra itself is comfortable but the sizing is wrong and that's very frustrating. I didn't put much stock into the other reviewers but they are right. The label says one thing but the size is another. I bought the same item from another store and the one I got from Amazon is much smaller. Returning all of them. Very disappointed.
