To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Bought this to try a wireless bra. Its comfortable and has good supportive features. I bought it on a sale price so that was a bonus however I followed the sizing chart and it fits small. I would definitely go one size up from what the chart states for your sizing.
This review is not for the bra itself (which is awesome) - it's for the item I purchased from amazon (Amazon.com LLC) as compared to the same bras bought at a department store.
I found these bras at JC Penny and liked them so much I bought 4 (they were on sale). On a whim, I checked amazon when I got home and found the same bra for almost exactly what I paid for them on sale in the store. I was super excited, since the department store was a hassle, so I ordered one from amazon - same size, same color, same everything as the department store.
I've now been wearing the bras for 2 1/2 months. All five bras have been worn for an equal amount of time and washed exactly the same way (gentle cycle with Woolite, hung to dry).
The bras from the department store are still in perfect condition. They look brand-new. The one I ordered from amazon looks terrible. The sides are pilling up and the elastic band is stretched out & misshapen. When I wash the department store bras I get a snug fit after they're dry. The amazon bra feels stretched out.
I'm convinced I got a cheap knock-off version from amazon. It had the Bali tags and LOOKED exactly like the department store bras, and it felt like it fit the same, but after only a few times worn it was really obvious that it wasn't the same. By then it was too late to return it.
I don't know - maybe other people had a good experience with purchasing through amazon, but I definitely won't be wasting my money again. In the future, I'll stick to the department store.
**NOTE - like I said, the bra itself is awesome. It is THE most comfortable bra I've ever owned. I'm a 36B and a medium fits me perfectly.
The bra is amazing. Fake knock-offs on amazon are NOT.
Finding the right bra is a huge challenge, it's the reason I have a drawer full of bras I don't use. I initially bought this bra in a small, following the size chart. I had to send it back and try the medium. It's perfect. I am 5'5 132lbs size 36B or 34C and the small was way too tight. Everyone is different, but I recommend sizing up. Other than the usual size dilemma, I find this bra very comfortable.
No more underwire bras for me! This has replaced my old sports bras that were so uncomfortable to get on and off and just smushed me. I don't run or do high impact cardio, just a fast pace on the treadmill or pavement. I also wear this bra for everyday, seems to give me the support and uplift I need. I do need to buy new every 3 months or so since there's no strap adjustment. But I've bought in different colors and rotate them and save the older ones for lounging around the house. I'm normally a 34-C and the medium is perfect.
I have to admit - I hate bras. I've never found one that is truly comfortable and doesn't need some kind of adjusting throughout the day. I also hate shopping for them - SO many choices and options and opinions - makes my head spin. But after losing weight I was forced to try and find a new one. I wanted something that was comfortable and that was thick enough so that nothing showed through clothes (if you know what I mean). After searching and reading I decided to try this one. I just wore it for a week and I have to say I am pleasantly surprised. It is VERY comfortable. Everything stayed where it should and the thickness of it is just right. The price was also a plus because bras can get pretty pricey. I went out on Bali's web site in order to determine what size to order (a medium). It might be a smidgen too small, but it's darn close to perfect. I'll be ordering a couple more of these right away.
Whenever I get new clothes, especially underwear, I wash first. Put this into the hand laundry and noticed a distinctive bad smell coming up from the sink. Rinsed and rinsed and it still stank of chemicals. Not going to put this PVC laden yuck on my bod. I wish that 1) US brands would stop offshoring mfgr to places with no enviro safeguards or any QC on mfg process 2) understand the labor conditions in China if that's where you outsource. No more Bali anything for me. Tossed this thing out in a sealed plastic bag because it stank so bad.
Underwhelming. I found this product on a list of bras for women with larger chest sizes. I am a 34F and ordered a medium based on the size chart. The medium feels right in the ribcage and shoulders but the bra keeps riding up because it is not designed for larger chests. It's small in the same way that shirts with built in bras don't fit women larger than a C cup. Size large wouldn't work because it would be too loose in the ribcage. Finally, the material feels really cheap and not worth the price.
