To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
So, I've bought this bra twice. The first time I bought a single bra to see if I liked it. And I LOVE that bra, its perfect. Has thin padding in it and doesnt stretch out too much when you wear it for a day or 2. Having loved the first bra I bought a 2 pack of the same bra, the bras that came in the 2 pack are not the same bra. There is no padding in the cup so you just have the thin material covering which doesnt provide any support or comfort. These bras stretch out terribly within a few hours of wearing them making them even less comfortable and less supportive.
So 5 stars for the first bra and 1 star for the other 2.
The first bra I ordered, the same size but a different color, fit perfectly. This bra band was 3 1/2 inches shorter in length than the first. This is not the first time this has happened, not only with Bali, but Olga and Warner also. That is a significant difference in length, but I'll use an extender as I don't want to deal with returning it. These manufacturers really need to look into quality control. I would have given 5 stars for the first bra ordered, but none for the second.
Based on the reviews in the photos I expected so much more out of this bra. It doesn’t lift anything, and it doesn’t hold in ANY of the back fat (I mean the fat around the back part of the bra closure and the sides under the arms.). I might as well have just bought a bandage to wrap around myself. I don’t usually leave negative comments but this is definitely one product I will not buy again
I was very pleased initially with this bra, though I’d like the band to fit a little more tightly. My only problem is that the nylon on the interior lining between the cups completely came apart within 2 - 3 wearings. I mended it, but because the nylon completely unraveled (looked almost shredded,) it altered the fit somewhat. The other bras I bought (same style,) in other colors seem to be holding up well & are equally comfortable.
This should be categorized as a sleep bra -- but even then, it is not that comfortable. Slides. Sizing I would say is correct. I would say above an A cup .. it will not "support" or shape much - NOR Lift. Just sayin .. so you think about it before ordering. It is nicely made -- but does not help much.
I'm a 42 D and bought the XL, the recommended size. Tight around the band and the straps slide off my shoulders. The cups fit fine and are nice and soft, not the band. I bought it for comfort around my ribs but I feel like the 2X would be too big in the cups. Just a poor fit for me. Bali is usually a good brand so I am disappointed.
While I liked the looks of the bra, I was NOT satisfied with the bra. The straps are not adjustable, the band around the bottom of the immediately rolled and actually tightened which was uncomfortable. I would never use this bra for physical activity. Since I wore it a couple of days, I cannot send it back, but I will not be buying this style again.
I had high hopes for this, but: I was skeptical of the sizing, and ordered L rather than M for 38C. (I'm a size 20 at Walmart and a size 14 at Nordstrom's, so I figure that sizing charts can't be trusted.) It seemed to fit and felt as if it provided a reasonable amount of support, but: 1) As soon as I moved, the elastic rolled up to form a string-cheese sized lump around my torso. I have enough trouble with lumps (possibly due to consumption of too much string cheese) without my clothes creating extra ones, thank you very much. 2) The fabric between the breasts is held about half an inch away from the body. I didn't quite get the "dreaded uniboob" as another reviewer so aptly dubbed it, but it was hardly a promising foundation for clothing.
I’m only keeping this because it isn’t worth the hassle of returning it. The sizing chart wasn’t accurate for me, as the bra is way too small even though I’m directly in the “small” sizing on the chart. The built-in pad is very thin, yet the outline is still visible through a shirt. I’ll keep it to wear around the house, but I couldn’t wear it in public unless it was under something baggy.
The concept is good but there is no way to adjust the straps to increase the "lift." After wearing a couple of times, I stitched a tuck in each strap but now it rubs uncomfortably on my shoulders. This wasn't a good purchase for me.
