I like this guide. However it really depends on what you want/ expect from a travel guide book. For me this is a good start.

If you’ve never been to Berlin before, then this is a good, simple guide that might not show you every aspect of Berlin but it has all the info you need to have an enjoyable long weekend in Berlin. Maybe once you’re more familiar with the city you would prefer a more in-depth travel guide, with pictures, more detail and more info, however I think for a fist time visit this book isn’t too intimidating and certainly makes you feel that you can book your city break.

I like the content and information supplied, it makes me want to book my trip. It’s very simply laid out, easy to understand and not too intimidating or packed so full of things to do and see that you don’t know where to start or feel that you don’t have long enough off work to do everything 😩 This book is just enough to pique my interest, help me plan and actually go and see/experience Berlin.

It’s quite small, and whilst not as light as an online guide or tiny little book or leaflet, I like the feel of it and I like that it’s small enough for my rucksack but big enough for me read like a real book.

I’m prepared to pay for printed books as I prefer them to online guides. Books are so much more life affirming. So priced at £9.25 I think is good value as I will probably use this book more than once. In my opinion this is a good purchase for a trip to Berlin.
