The Butterfly Blossoms Urn is designed to scatter ashes on water or land. The Cherry Blossoms are surrounded by butterflies and are painted with a band of gold leaf. As piece of art, this urn will add a special touch to a funeral ceremony. The bowl has an additive that helps it be buoyant in water. It It will float briefly, then sink gracefully and break down naturally over time. The Urn will begin to biodegrade only when it gets wet or is buried in the ground. Simply place a loved ones ashes in a biodegradable water soluble bag that is included. Then place the bag in the bowl. The bowl attaches to the bottom of the urn with biodegradable glue and clips. Remove the clips before burial. The bowl has a 5" flat base so it can beautifully sit on display during a ceremony. The bowl has an additive that is 100% biodegradable and allows it to be buoyant in water so it can float briefly before gradually descending. Calm water will give longer floating times.

This URN was NOT big enough. It claims to hold 220lbs person. The ashes were of a 150 pound person. This is an already difficult time and to have to deal with this is not good. I now have to purchase second urn from the funeral home. Terrible. A rip off.
Not enough room for all the ashes. Half left.
It's ok if you want to keep half.
Very nice for the ocean.
