I purchased this device primarily because we have an aging (and sometimes incontinent) dog who has occasional 'accidents' on our rug. I have a plug-in Bissell carpet shampooer for when I want to do large areas of my carpets, but it's a pain to drag it all out for small spot stains such as those created by our furry friend.
This little unit is quite powerful, really easy to use and clean afterwards, and has a superb battery life. I normally get about a month's use out of a full charge (assuming I use it at least once each day,) and it charges up fully again, overnight - how good's that?
It really does a good clean - especially when using the Bissell Pet Stain Remover coupled with the Oxygen booster.
I can't recommend this highly enough.
