Brightest LED torch I own

I own serveral LED torches and I have to say this one is by far the brightest, the zoom/pan function is handy too. The photo probably doesn't do the brightest justice but even on the widest zoom setting it lights up a huge area. Hopefully the quality stands up and it lasts but so far so good.

The torch comes with an adaptor to fit 3xAAA batteries or 1x 18650, I'd say you'd get similar performance from either configuration as the voltage will be pretty similar 4.5v for the 3xAAA or 4.2v from a 18650.

This is my second Bluefire flashlight. I liked the first so much that I purchased a second.
This is a well built flashlight that is uncannily bright. It has several modes that you can access by lightly pressing the green on/off button on the back of the flashlight - brightest, medium bright, dim, strobe and SOS. This flashlight will also zoom in from a large bright circle of light to a very intense small square beam of light. When I use this outside in the dark it is so bright that I can see the beam itself.
The flashlight is made of aluminum I assume to disperse the heat it generates, but it also makes it very sturdy. The flashlight gets warm but not hot.
It does not come with a battery. It does come with a holder for 3 AAA batteries and a holder for a 18650 battery. I recommend a good 18650 battery because it is much brighter with this battery.
MOST IMPORTANT - this flashlight contains the Cree xm-l2 bulb which is much brighter than the usual T6 Cree bulb in most budget flashlights.
For the price this is an excellent buy.

UPDATE: I have since bought quite a few of this type of budget tactical flashlights (see my reviews) but this is still my favorite. I highly recommend this flashlight.

I love this flashlight because it is small, light, and has an SOS blink feature which is great to have when hiking. The only problem is, it did not come with any instructions. I had to go back to it's page on Amazon and search questions on how to use the different features. The zoom is tricky, but I finally got it to work. Wish someone would post a video of this flashlight demonstrating how to operate the zoom and other features...that would help so much. One of my giant MAG lights broke, and the other is just too heavy to use as I get older. This little flashlight is a very good substitute...just hope it lasts.

I love this flashlight. I have bought at least 3 of them for myself and as gifts for friends. It's extremely bright. Unlike so many super cheap LED flashlights that drip drain the batteries continuously, this one doesn't. When the flashlight is off, the batteries are not drained. So it can sit of the shelf for weeks (maybe even months) and still be bright and fresh. This is totally unlike my experience with the "el cheapo" chinese LED flashlights that are dead after a month or two whether you use them or not. Super bright. Great product. Well worth the cost.

(Disclosure: this is not a paid review. I didn't get free product. I bought the light with my own bucks and I genuinely like it a lot. And I have a *lot* of flashlights. This is a good one.)

I am a bit of flashlight geek and I am very pleased with this flashlight. It casts a wider beam than many flashlights having the same dimensions. The narrow beam is on a par with other flashlights this size. The zoom action is smooth but firm. It casts a nice white light. The fit and finish is good. The price is more than fair and I am going to buy some as presents for friends.
