Difficult to get the suction cups to stick!

I like the size of this bath mat but because it arrived folded most of the suction cups have been bent out of shape and therefore do not suck properly. I have to push each suction down individually to get them to suck/stick, which is annoying and time-consuming. And even then, the suction cups that are really bent out of shape do not stick at all.

I would return if I hadn't thrown out the packaging.

I bought this mat so I could bath my grandson in our adult bath. The mat is LONG. It covers the bottom of the bath so that he isn't at risk of slipping under as he moves around & plays in the bath tub.
I love the colour too! It makes the water look bright blue.

I love the large suction cups on the back, and I love the curled cut at each end so it can be hung form the shower rosette to dry off.

We got this mat in the help of trying to bath bubs and not slip when trying to exit the bath. Its lovely and long, we have a very small bath and it almost goes the whole length of it. Lots of suction pads to make sure it stays put. The hook to hang it up once finished using it is a great idea. Highly recommended getting this bath mat

Good matt. Just push down firmly in damp bath and it stays stuck down just fine no issues.
The only reason not giving 5 star is that while it works it's not as anti slip as I would have liked. Could be better but does the job.

I read other peoples reviews and there are somethings that I do agree with.
1) it is hard for the suctions to stick to the tub. Easy fix is that I splash water in the tub, drop the mat down and then walk all over it to make sure it sticks.
2) I have not had it stain my tub, but it sits in the water for all of 20 mins or less for my kid's bath and then I drain the water and hang to dry.
3) THIS ONE IS IMPORTANT: You will have to wash the mat every once in a while to prevent it from getting slippery. Even when I hang to dry every night, if my kid has a bubble bath, the bubbles stay on the mat and leaves it slippery. My baby had a bad slip in the tub the other night. Its not too bad to wash it once in a while.
Other than simple maintenance, I don't mind this product. It's longer than most which I really liked. I just can't give it a 5 star because of the slip.
Overall, is worth the money.

Must-have for any parents with toddlers

I was unsure about whether to get this as reviews seemed to be mixed. We remove and hang the mat after every bath, which is a breeze and still looks neat in the bathroom. It sticks well, but letting the bottom of the bath get a little wet before applying pressure to the suctions does seem to make it stick better. We have hard well-water, and I haven't seen any mineral residue build-up on the mat yet. My daughter is at an age now (14 months) where she constantly likes to stand up and go up and down (sometimes dancing and trying to jump) throughout her bath time. Before the mat, that would have met instantly slipping every time. Now it's manageable with close supervision. I would highly recommend to any parent.

Used this for >18 mos. daily now and it is a great product. Echoing some other reviews, you should remove it and hang it up after each use to let it dry. And, it is necessary to have some water present to get the suction cups to work best. Pretty simple process: start to fill water to tub, place mat down, add child, bathe, drain water, remove mat and hang to dry, repeat as necessary. This has been most useful and reliable for us.

Bought this mat for my kids (8 and 5). The 8 year-old takes showers, the 5 year-old still likes baths. The colour is nice, it seems durable, and the size is great. I also like the hanging feature.

Cons: it is very tough to get it to stick and lay flat. A lot of effort. Also, my daughter said it’s not at all comfortable to sit on. It also left blue residue in my tub. I don’t recommend this product.

Well, as others have said, it takes a bit of effort to get it to stick. The surface has to be wet and one has to press down really well. It adheres well when it’s in place but such an annoyance when you have to take it on and off regularly. I’m not unhappy with it but if I had to shop for a mat again I wouldn’t buy this one.
