I love the fact that it doesn't have a Teflon insert; it's ceramic on aluminium. I presume that the ceramic coating is quite thick because the steamer basket and trivet are metal. It was a breeze to clean.
I was slightly disappointed that the insert was quite small, but I pot roasted a 1.5 kilo pork joint in it and that's probably going to be enough. I'm not sure it would take a chicken, though. But with just two of us, I don't do large roasts often anyway.
I’m still getting used to pressure cooking and struggling to find nice recipes that I can follow. My lamb shanks turned out a treat on the slow cooking function. I have cooked theses in my crock pot that I bought in 1974 but sadly it has now gone to heaven. I’m very happy with 5he latest technology.
If you are looking at geeting one be aware that the cooking times do not include the time it takes for the unit to heat up (preheat) and release steam (cool down). This will vary depending on how much liquid is in your pot. In the case of cooking corned beef it doubled the stated 40 min cooking time. The impact was not so severe on doing risotto.
So
Is it useful? YES.
Did it live up to expectations? No.
What would I do differently? I would check out a few online recipes for the things you want to to use it for to get more realistic expectations.

Some people report it doesn't sauté food enough but I disagree, I have browned heaps of things from onions etc through to meats and chicken, with no problem.
The pot is easy to clean either by hand or in the dishwasher. Sometimes retains the smell of the last thing cooked, but I just wipe it over with vinegar and seems to do the trick, as it has never transferred in to the current food cooking.
