To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyses reviews to verify trustworthiness.
Here's my thing, I expected non slip, soft and cushy, and ... Well... Not quite this. Under this mat we have a hard linoleum floor. When we step on the mat we can still feel the cold hard floor seeping through.
Also, don't expect the mat to completely fit around the base of the toilet. It's a bit more narrow.
The two sides that typically rest along the sides of the base are roughly 2/3 the length of what one might expect. As a result of the odd sizing, it either partly rests on the base bunched up (if you're picky like I am about the entirety of the floor being covered by the mat at the base) which causes it to slide around even more than it already does -- or if you lay it flat on the floor, there's about an inch of flooring exposed between the base of the toilet and where the back of the mat is. That's all due to the narrowness of the u-shape in the mat that one *would expect* to be fitting around the base of the toilet.
Sizing I would rate a 1 out of 5 stars Non slip ability, a 2 out of 5 Color, a 3 - as I didn't expect the border to be as prominent (taller than the mat itself) and about a shade darker than the rest of the mat And cushy.. well, a 1. I could put a towel down and it would provide more cushion than this mat ... We actually currently have one on top of it for extra cushion and absorbency (as a towel by itself is awfully slippery)
Overall, I don't *hate* it ... But I dislike it enough that within minutes of placing it, have already made plans for replacing it with another brand's product.
The color is beautiful (navy), the padding is not. I *think* it's memory foam, but I'm not entirely sure. All I know is that it is very thin. Not what I was hoping for. It will work for a while, but I will continue to search for ones like my mom got from Costco more than ten years ago that are so thick and amazing, they make your feet happy. These are soft, but, I hate to say, not too special.
I really want to say you have one job but I realized that wouldn’t be accurate... but seriously, you need to hug the toilet in order to do your job. I understand, it’s disgusting but seriously... and you kinda don’t even stay in place so am not sure I want to keep you and yet here you are.
I gave a 3 star rating for softness. The binding on the carpet is sewed unevenly and the two ends of the binding that meet are stitched together and form a lump right in the front, which is an eyesore. Functional but not made with quality in mind. I prefer my old one. Also I got the peach color but the actual color is a goldish almond.
The base of my toilet is wider than the opening in this rug, so I put it next to my bed with the "toilet opening" going through the leg on my dresser. It's really soft and cushiony on my feet when I get out of bed.
I got this rug last week and it didn’t come in the peacock color. Online it looks light blue but when i got it, it was a deep green color. I give it a 3 star rating because the color depicted online vs what i received is deceiving.
