This is a great piece for a costume. I’m using it as part of a pirate costume. The quality is nice, it’s lined inside and is a thick material. I’m 5’5” and 180#, and the XL fits great, almost a hair too big. I have the back laced up as tight as possible and the bodice fits snugly but not overly-tight. If you want it to cinch, you may need to size down.

I love this corset! The shoulder straps really help it to stay up well without having to squish the boobs too much. I love the laces on the front. I exchanged the laces on the back for a thicker style, which worked out perfectly. This style doesn't give you the "back fat" spillover like the strapless ones sometimes do. I want one in every color! I ordered my normal size and it fit perfect. ( I also ordered up a size from some other reviews, but had to return it because it was too large.) The garter straps are pretty flimsy and I couldn't get them to catch my stockings so I wore it without the garters

Long straps, but great corset!

This corset is mostly great! The laces have good knot traction, and the fabric doesn't seem overly felt-y or cheap, especially for the price. The only issues I have are with the straps: they are too long, and the bow ties at the armpits are sewn in rather than removable. I was surprised that the straps are too long, even for an XXL. I am 6'0" and quite busty, but I ended up pinning up about 2" of the straps in the back. I don't know how women shorter than me could wear this size without an issue! I was also hoping that the bows at the armpits would be removable (or at least re-tie-able into something less floppy), but alas, the bow knots are sewn onto the fabric. I someday might take them out and re-sew them, but for now it seems more effort than it's worth. Overall, though, I'm quite happy with my purchase!

I'm 220lbs with 42 DDD chest (I typicallywear an xl). I purchased a 2x thinking it would fit. I honestly couldn't even zip the thing up. It was so small. I'll be returning it and I'll repurchase a 5x. The quality of the corset seemed very nice tho!

I ordered a XXL in anticipation for it to be tight enough to cinch my waist but leave wiggle room since it was being used for a costume. I myself am an XL, I tried it on and I could barely get my arms in the holes, it fit more like a medium. I'd save my money and not even order it. Luckily I'm crafty and sewed new panels on it.
