At first, I didn't think this was going to fit and I was prepared to return it, which made me sad because corsets don't come much larger (inches-wise). I bought the 5x. Being my first time wearing a corset, I didn't realize you could loosen them to fit your curves. After I figured that out, I was a happy customer! There is a flap in the back so it will still "cover" you when you loosen it. AND best of all, I wore this WITHOUT a bra and look at how well the girls were still held up!! I'm a 40H and this held me up better than my bras and it was extremely comfortable! I want to find a way to wear a corset instead of a bra lol. I was worried I wouldn't be able to breath or have trouble sitting down, but nope! Once you get the adjustment right in the back, you can get it right in the front, and make it work for you. So even though it appears to widen at the bottom, that's just how I had mine adjusted (plus I do have a stomach :P).

This is a good product for the price. It’s fairly well made, cute and fit as expected. It’s not the highest quality I’ve ever seen, but still pretty good. It’s also the most comfortable corset I’ve ever worn, a little less stiff than others I own. I ordered a medium, which is my typical size. The reason it works for me in particular is that I needed a corset that would fit a smaller to medium size bust. If you are a chestier medium, get one size up, because this fits my chest well with no bra on underneath. Granted, I had the front lacing almost closed, so it might have more give than I’m implying, but it wouldn’t take much to be spilling out of the top if you are much bigger than B. You’d constantly be popping out in a medium if you are a C or larger. I’m a B, size 34 under-bust and this worked fine with a little loosing of the ties. Just a tip on putting it on: you have to completely untie the front along with the zipper, no matter how tight it fits once you are all strapped in. There is absolutely no way to get into this corset otherwise than untying the back which is a pain in the butt to fix. When you initially put it on, get some help to adjust the back lacing to your body, then LEAVE it. It takes time to get that back lacing right on any corset, but especially this one since the ties are super soft.

I really wanted a corset for my ren faire outfit, and it has taken me a long time to find one that fits my (incredibly picky) tastes in style, color & quality, as well as my (incredibly un-incredible) budget. The one I originally was looking at sold out, and I am SO GLAD it did. Because this beauty came along shortly after, & I'm happy I waited for it! Sure, the zipper doesn't really shout "100% ACCURATE REN ATTIRE!" I mean, none of my outfit does. But, that zipper does make it easier to put on/take off, which I appreciate! The fabric used feels & looks great. The boning does it's job, without being super stiff/pointy/bending too much. I will eventually replace all the cording, but that's purely for personal taste. The stitching is pretty solid. The quality is amazing for the price. And the color. I FREAKING LOVE the color. It matches my outfit so well. So yeah, pretty damned chuffed with this! Though, the little thong thing that came with it...we laughed at it, put it on our heads, laughed some more, then tossed it in the bin.

I am 5’5” and 205 lbs, 38 DDD. I normally wear a XL in shirts, I ordered this corset in a 3x based on manufacturing suggestions. This was the perfect size for me! This is a very well made, and comfortable, but I will make a couple of suggestions for a perfect fit, as it was very awkward out of the box.

I’m a traveling vendor for Ren faires, so I wear steel boned and leather corsets a lot. I was looking for a cheaper, lighter weight option for smaller events during the summer months. This one definitely fit the bill! This corset has light weight plastic boning and made from a fabric inner lining and a soft, thin pleather outer lining. It’s not made to hold its shape rigidly, and won’t support the girls if you are on the bustier side like me, so you’ll still need an under support (bra) to save your back and fill out the top if you desire.

There is a lot of extra room under the arms and straps. So it is very accommodating for curvy gals, but you’ll need to take those straps in with pins or sewing if you can’t fill out the top, they WILL slip down off your shoulders. Or be prepared to tighten the front and back laces tighter than shown in product images to take in that extra room.

In order to get a good fit and a curvy profile, I went ahead and threaded the back like a traditional corset. Just skip the criss cross for the holes closest to the top of your rib cage under your gals, and thread into the hole above it, then continue criss cross. Tie the loose threads together in a knot near the end of the strings. I added a picture of my lacing pattern.

Zip the front, but don’t lace the front. Pull the thumb loops until comfortable, pulling the hip lace or chest lace tighter as needed from the thumb loops. Tie these loops in a simple double knot, will look like a bow.

Then just pull the gals up, and lace the front. Doing it this way will mean in the future you only have to undo the front to put on and off, keep a curvy shape, better support, and also makes minor adjustments of the fit easy on the fly.

Hope this helps anyone looking! Would definitely buy again. Was exactly what I was expecting based on other reviews and manufacturers suggestions.

This is a very beautiful corset and well made! I am a 36ddd in VS and other various brands of bras. I ordered the 4x. I have a much smaller waist. Unfortunately, It was too big. I have an inch of space on both sizes of the hip areas. Even tied very tightly! I can pull it over my head easily after unzippering. So if you have a 36dd-ddd and a smaller waist don’t doubt yourself order a 3x. You might not be able to breathe if tied correctly but you’ll look like a Goddess! if you want to be like me and eat a steak on a stake, whilst sitting in your wheelchair in renaissance regalia... order the 4x! It gorgeous and excellent craftsmanship for the price!!!!

Love the cleavage this gives!! I have a larger chest & my shoulders are pretty broad (ya know to hold these boulders), so I felt a little “aggressive” walking around with my broad a** shoulders out 😩😂. That’s just my personal self love problems tho, not the products fault lol. The cleavage is worth the shoulders imo that’s why I wore it again on Halloween for a pirate costume 😂🤷🏽‍♀️.

HOWEVER for all ren fest attendees!! If you go on a warm/hot day be prepared to sweat underneath. I didn’t have pockets for my phone so I would lay it under the arm strap (partially on my boob). I purchased this corset to make a fairy costume. I looked at the size chart provided by the seller and I am so glad I did! I normally wear a medium/large by they recommended I buy the x-large. It fits beautifully!! I am a short-waisted woman and I look amazing in this corset! The fabric is beautiful, looks like olive green suede, and so far, very durable. I added some matching tulle (from the skirt) under the corset and did not even have to wear a bra. It was very supportive. The most exciting part? It is so comfortable, which is not a word usually used with corset. It is not the most comfortable while driving, but after I got out of the car, it was fantastic the rest of the day. I highly, highly recommend. Best corset I have ever purchased.

This was purchased to use as part of my renaissance costume. What I liked about it is that the laces in the back are adjustable and there is a flap behind the laces to cover. The flap allows the laces to be looser if needed without showing the garment under the corset. It is not stretch material, feels like some kind of brushed leather. I did have to move the shoulder straps over in the back as they were falling off my shoulders. Other than that it works for what I need it for. I have seen some pics where people have added lace on the corset which looks very nice. I may add that to mine in the future

At first I was anxious ordering this because It was so last minute and I was ordering solely based on my faith in the reviews! I ordered a 5x, i’m 244 lbs and usually a 2-3x, I’m 5 foot 6 inches tall. When i first tried it on, I loosened the strings all the way and tried to tie myself into it, well the strings weren’t long enough, which isn’t a big deal, i ended up running to walmart and buying a deep blue colored ribbon for 99 cents, which honestly looked beautiful with the corset and you could barely even tell it didn’t come with it. With the help of my parents, they tied me in and it turned out amazing! I wasn’t even wearing a bra and you can’t even tell. definitely recommend for your first time dressing up at the ren faire!
