I mean this was utterly and completely delightful. Even though this is marketed at children I absolutely adored this and found it hilarious. Cinders is such a wonderful character; she had such heart and fight to her but was also so humorous. I love this alternate take on Cinderella and the modernistion of it! Brian is wonderful. Why should Brian be a male name eh?!

The illustrations in this book were wonderful and just utterly brought this book to life. I cannot wait to read the rest of the series; I also love that characters from other fairytales pop up, such as Bo Peep and Jack and Jill! Just delightful, recommend for all ages!

I really enjoyed this modern take on the Cinderella story - really good fun, while showing us that Princes are definitely not needed for rescuing purposes! I really enjoyed the fast paced writing and know quite a few children that will really enjoy an independent Cinders going off on adventures in sensible clothes with pockets!!!! The story is broken up with fun illustrations from Pippa Curnick making this a great early chapter book for around age 7 up!

Funny, exciting, well written and hugely enjoyable. This is one of the best children's books I've read. Both my husband and my daughters (age 8 & 10) enjoyed the series so far. The books didn't take long to read as my daughters would always ask for more at bedtime and they have read again and again on their own.

It's a modern take on a cinderella story. Great chapter book for young readers or to be enjoyed as a family. The illustrations brought the story to life and I highly recommend to children age 7+
