Product description

About the Author

Stacy Peterson is weaver of stories and a teller of tales. Her fun, effervescent style takes you on a journey through the wonder of childhood sprinkling the way with whimsical characters and charming girls. With a strong background in design, Stacy s work playfully interprets nostalgic childhood themes in a fresh, modern way. Her palette ranges from pretty pastels to colors as vivid as one s imagination. Here you can delight in the everyday and find wonder in the world. Shortly after her son was born, Stacy began illustrating part time while working as an art director in a New York City advertising agency. Finding success, she began illustrating full time for dozens of books, greeting cards and magazines and her artwork helped launch the immensely popular American Girl tween craft line. Stacy calls the beautiful Texas Hill Country home, where she lives with her two children. There, along a winding creek dancing with fireflies, she finds inspiration for her collections. Her clients include Scholastic, Penguin Putnam, American Girl, Darice, Klutz, Publications International, Robert Kaufman and even celebrities such as Madonna.

4.0 out of 5 stars A nice forest inspired colouring book, but actually 32 pages not 64!
Reviewed in Canada on 11 September 2020
This is a nice colouring book. Each page has a perforated line so that it's each to tear a page out. The "Simple 1-2-3" steps it describes is to 1-pick a page, 2-tear out and colour, and 3-frame and display. Sort of weird, because showing it on the front like that makes it sound like it will help you colour in 3 easy steps.

By the way, it's described as 64 pages. But it's actually 32. Maybe as a traditional book where test would be on the front and back of each page, yes it would be 64. But here each back is blank. So it's really only 32 drawings. And the first page is a title page.

Otherwise, the designs have a good variety to them. Some fill the full page. Others are just a plant or animal. All have a similar style with lots of small areas to colour in, making a much bigger picture.

Bought this for $3.19. Great deal for this price.

Love this so much. It’s my first adult coloring book, I bought it for some relaxation during my summer staycation. To my surprise it is relaxing! lol. The paper is a great quality and the pictures are beautiful and great to color. Very happy...especially for the price!! My 6 year old wants one of her own now.

Just got mine and this is my first work. I love the nature/forest patterns. The spiral type makes it easy and convenient for me to do my work. Its also a tear up page so you can frame it if you'd like. I love it. Worth the price! I would recommend.
