I have bought 8 of these over the years and all eventually get thrown out because the top of the zipper breaks and is not repairable, and so it can't be zipped, the pull tab part of the zipper is fine, but the round loop part of the zipper itself breaks, even tho' it is metal, I have called and emailed the company, with only standard letter replies, but still buy it on sale because of quality otherwise, but this is an ongoing defect in this product, I wish they would get a new zipper supplier.
I have never been more excited about a zip up before. I am always SO hesitant on buying because they never fit me correctly. Let me tell you...Columbia has changed the game and has changed my mind. I bought my very first Columbia zip up while they were on sale and said sure why not. IT FITS PERFECT. I have broad "swimmer" shoulders, long arms, and a really long torso. It's the best fitting zip up I've ever bought. I legit bought 2 more colors.
I am used to ordering an XL because I have a very large top. The XL was very big. I returned the XL and got a L. It was roomy enough to wear over a sweater. The color was a rich, bright plum. It is a winter weight fleece. It is the same cushiness as a bathrobe. It has a slightly fitted waist. The zippers work well. The tag on the jacket said $60. At $35 it is a steal!
I was afraid it might not be the same quality as the ones I bought in stores. Thankfully fit and quality were the same. This style is a little fitted which is ver slimming. I bought the purple and I love the color. I usually wear a 8 to 10 and I bought the large. I like the way it fits. It doesn’t look to large but gives me room to move around easily. Not to bulky so looks nice if I want to wear it inside.
