Fits as expected. Very comfortable. Great for travel. Light, stretchable fabric. Converts easily. Pockets gape a bit.

Great travel pants although tight in the thigh area
Reviewed in the United States on 12 November 2017Size: 24Colour: British TanVerified Purchase
I bought 2 pairs of these for a trip to Israel along with a cruise to Spain. I wore them many, many times and was happy with them for the most part.
PROS:
1. Very lightweight. Took up little room in my suitcase.
2. Comfortable with one exception (see "cons")
3. A breeze to wash. I could wash them in the hotel/ship sink or shower with a little bit of shampoo or bath gel, squeeze, roll in a towel, and dry either hung up or on the balcony. They dried in hours. Tip: Unzip legs and wash body and legs separately for less bulk.
4. I like zip offs because you get shorts and long pants all in one.
CONS:
1. As past reviewers have noted often, this particular convertible pant is tight in the thigh area. Even with the largest size (which was roomy everywhere else), when I sat down, the zipper for the legs dug into my thighs. This happened worst when the pants were unzipped into shorts. Columbia should realize that plus-size women ESPECIALLY need room in the thighs - although I've seen reviews by regular-size women that the thigh issue happened to them as well.
2. While wandering in Jerusalem, I discovered that the zipper on one leg had worked itself loose. I could not rezip it while the pants were on so I had to be "air conditioned" until I got back to the hotel. This only happened once.
I ended up wearing the pants as capris by rolling up the legs (see photo). That way I didn't have the dig-in thigh problem as much.
***OVERALL: I like these pants and would recommend them, but wish Columbia would fix the thigh issue.*****

Great sizing for plus sized gal, stretchy for hiking and quick dry.
Reviewed in the United States on 27 June 2018Size: 20W RegularColour: British TanVerified Purchase
Thanks Columbia for making these in plus size! I have been hiking so much in my size 22W that I needed to order another pair in a smaller size. These 20W also have an excellent fit for my body shape. The stretch makes them comfortable in all terrain. I did notice a little tightness around the leg zippers as others have mentioned, but since I do very little sitting in these, it's not a problem at all. The cording at the ankles allows me to tighten around my ankles, making the length perfect as well as keeping out debris and critters on hikes. They are slow to get soaked, and dry super quick, which has come in handy on rainy days. I find the small zip pocket perfect for minimal ID and car key.

Just Say No if Your Are Plus Size
Reviewed in the United States on 14 January 2019Size: 20 LongColour: British TanVerified Purchase
I ordered 2 sizes up from my normal Columbia size (I’m usually a 20 across the board, and ordered these in a 24). I, #1, was shimmying the zipper up on these and looked like a stuffed sausage. Then, the zipper around the thought made it look like my legs were being cut in half! I don’t know where Columbia went wrong with these pants (again, I can only comment on the plus sizes), but I’m extremely disappointed that these pants didn’t work out.
