Even though the blocks were covered with cellophane, the light coloured ones were smeared rather badly.
I think that the box I received was a display one hence the state of the product.
If this was meant for a present, I would not give it !
Just another complaint : the envelope the box arrived in was three quarters open.
After trawling my way through Amazon returns and sinking deeper and deeper into the quagmire.....
I decided to keep the item as it was.
The actual product is good - does what it says on the tin but Derwent needs to re-think the tin. Despite damage,
the lid does not stay on and has to be kept in place with bulldog clips. How do I know this? As of course mine was damaged?
A friend bought the same item and has this problem. Perhaps a hinged lid would help!
