I bought these to be my fat pants, in a size up from my usual, and these are perfect comfortable work pants for women. They basically go straight down to my ankles, with a very slight taper. The material and cut are very business casual appropriate, at a great price. Not too baggy or tight in any area, womens equivalent of men's dressy cargo pant. The size up was probably necessary for my bigger rear end and thighs, and I'll pair with a belt. Would feel comfortable wearing these with a shirt that ends right at the waist, and a less tight pant fit is on trend. Plus I gained a few pounds and needed something to wear on my bloated days. This is it's while still being semi on trend. No more hair pulling while my kid asks my why 27 times in a row while I try on multiple pairs of slightly tight pants. Just throw these on with any shirt and go without losing it. For a great price, thanks Amazon.
These Daily Ritual Women's Girlfriend Chinos fit like loose, slouchy, boyfriend pants and I really like them after modifying the pockets.
They are made of a slightly brushed, washed, 97% cotton and 3% spandex, woven, twill fabric that has just a bit of stretch. The care label says to machine wash in cold water with like colors and tumble dry on low heat.
These are flat front chinos (no pleats) with front zipper and button closure. The waistband is slightly contoured for a more feminine fit and there are 5 belt loops at the waistband. The rise is below the natural waist. There are two, side seam pockets and two, decorative, non-functional, bound, back pockets. The legs are loose and hit above my ankle. The fabric is light enough that the legs can be easily rolled up for a capri length.
These are super comfortable and I like the slouchy look however, the side seam pockets do pop open in an unattractive way. I solved this problem by just stitching them closed. Of course, since the back pockets are non-functional, this leaves me with no pockets on these pants but they look very nice once the pockets are stitched closed. I like to wear them with a button down, white shirt for a casual, comfortable look. I also like the dusty olive color as it's a great neutral.
Since this style pocket is problematic for most women, I wouldn't suggest buying these pants unless you are willing to sew the pockets closed or have someone do it for you.
These are great chinos. They’re a perfect weight, not too thin, not too thick. They’re well made and the sizing is good. I’m a solid size 6. That’s what I ordered and they fit perfectly. I’m 135 lbs and 5’8”. They didn’t shrink or fade in the wash and I found that if I pull them out of the dryer while they’re still warm and fold them, they won’t wrinkle. Wish they came in more colors.
These are great pants. I really wanted to like them because I need a pair like this for work. I read another person's review on here stating that the pockets are weird and she stitched them closed. Once I tried them on, I realized what she was talking about. I'm a woman, I have hips already, I don't need help looking as though I have clown pants on. Even with stitching them closed, it would bother me. I will be sending them back and trying something else.
I’ve been in search for a nice fitting work pants for a long time. I was hoping this would’ve been it; unfortunately it didn’t live up to all the great comments on here. I’m 5’2 and wear a size 4. I purchased a size 4 and the waist fit perfectly. I also really liked that the fabric didn’t attract lint. Most pants these days are like glue to lint and animal hair.
Things I didn’t like about these pants: The fabric is on the stiffer side, the front pockets puff up when I walk. It’s loose around my calves and my legs aren’t super skinny. These are good quality pants; unfortunately, it didn’t look flattering on me.
Everything about these pants were perfect except the pockets sticking out in an absurd way! Other reviewers mentioned this but I thought I would still give them a try. Yes, they stick out like large, awkward ears on your hips. Everything else about the pants (fit, color, fabric, length, etc.) was spot on. I thought about sewing up the pockets like one reviewer did, not I use my pockets all the time and my pants without pockets drive me crazy. So reluctantly returning them. Sizing was spot on.
The reviews about the pockets are so accurate. The pockets hang wide open. Also, the pants run large in the waist compared to similar pants made by name brands. I do not recommend. I am going to try to figure out what I can do with these in terms of salvaging them. Maybe I can see the pockets closed. On the plus side, the pants are a beautiful rich color and if I can get them properly fitted, would look like expensive pants.
These are pretty nice pants for the price. The fabric is good and they’re decent quality. They run a bit on the large side in my opinion. I’m kind of in between sizes of 8-10. My issue is the waist always being too big. I hate super tight pants while I’m at work so I went with the 10 on these and they’re sadly a bit too large. I actually had to safety pin them and also wear a belt (didn’t notice how loose they were until I was already at work!) But overall I do like despite them being a tad too big. I’m going to shrink them some in the dryer. It’s also worth mentioning that the black color is VERY faded so it almost appears more like a navy blue.
