Good first air fryer. Lacks the quality finish I expected.

I've had this air fryer for 1.5 years now, and use it 2 or 3 times a week.
The plastic see-through section has been replaced 3 times now under warranty, as it eventually cracks from the heat. As mention by another person the non-stick pan quickly scratches and is damaged in no time.
The temperature dial is 1/2/3/4 and doesn't actually have an accurate temperature option. The manual is quite lacking and also doesn't mention temperatures.
I'd skip this model and go for a more expensive, better designed device. I think this model only exists to be a stepping stone to their better digital temperature model.

Cooks well and fast, but with the other flaws that comes with this appliance, I can't recommend buying it.

Easy clean and is able to cook a lot of things unlike other air fryers that have holes or a wire rack at the bottom the De'Longhi IdealFry has a solid tray and cooks from the top and bottom very well. I am love'in this product best AirFryer I have had and using it to cook a range of foods.

Exceeded my expectations. The manual dials are simple and idiot proof, no menus, buttons, or LCD displays to mess with. I like the enclosed non-stick bowl (no open basket for things to fall through) which is also extremely easy to clean. I add a small wire rack for cooking things that need air circulating all around, otherwise just toss/turn a few times during cooking. Bought on a whim but has proved to be a very versatile and useful appliance, especially since I have only a basic oven. Recommended.

The only thing that is really annoying is the lack of instructions. There is no cook book and if you go to the web address it gives you, it's for a different model with completely different settings and knobs. Even the cooking space is different so these instructions are useless. All I can do is guess how long to cook anything for. If I get it right the food is beautiful and I love the fryer. When I got it wrong my chicken was really dry. and not nice at all.

The basket is no thicker than that of a can of lemonade. The non stick coating is far from scratch proof. Thin scratches can be seen after a few uses despite appropriate care having been exercised. I would have expected a small rack for cooking a steak or the like. My old no frills fryer gave much better results than the more expensive appliance. Not impressed at all.

I doubt their employee understood cooking temperatures ! I think the appliance will be great once I master the temperature setting.

Presa nel Black Friday di Amazon, per avere in casa un elettrodomestico che cucinasse i cibi col sapore del fritto ma con meno utilizzo di olio.
Ricevuta e messa subito alla prova con una coscia di pollo avvolta nella pancetta. Il risultato non è male, l’esterno aveva una discreta croccantezza e l’interno molto buono e ben cotto come da tempistica del manuale. Direi però che lo stesso risultato può essere tranquillamente ottenuto con un piccolo forno ventilato.
Se vogliamo il risultato del fritto perfetto, bisogna utilizzare tanto olio ed una padella.
Per il resto direi di facile utilizzo e robusta. Durante la cottura non produce tanti odori e fumo, ma quando inizia a crearsi la crosta sui cibi, di fumo ne fa’ ed anche tanto a seconda della cottura desiderata e dei cibi utilizzati.
In casa non ho forni ventilati, per cui credo lo utilizzerò parecchio.

Aggiornamento: utilizzato per provare una delle ricette dell’app De Longhi, Salmone con crosta di pistacchio, il risultato è stato un piatto molto gustoso.

Nell'airfry ho fatto le lasagne, la salsiccia con le patate, le bruschette, tranci di tonno al pomodoro, bastoncini e cotolette di merluzzo, crocchette, frittata ecc.. il ricettario scaricabile è, inoltre, utilissimo e prevede la possibilità di cucinare tantissime cose. Se tornassi indietro la ricomprerei, vale tutti i soldi spesi.. mi chiedo come ho fatto, fin'ora, a viverne senza. Consigliatissima

La friggitrice è eccellente, sia come qualità costruttiva che funzionalità. L'aspetto è grazioso, si intona a qualsivoglia cucina. Anche le modalità di funzione sono a prova di dilettante, con due manapole analogiche molto chiari e visibili. Il vano, facilmente lavabile e capiente, garantisce una ottima quantità di prodotto da cuocere.

Provata con diverse pietanze, dalle patate al pesce, posso affermare che il prodotto offre una cottura più simile a un forno ventilato che a una friggitrice vera e propria. Non serve a niente aggiungere olio a metà cottura, panare con la semola, etc: il prodotto avrà le sembianze di una preparazione da forno, spesso stopposa e facilmente masticabile.

Consiglierei l'acquisto a qualsiasi persona non avesse già in casa un forno ventilato e voglia creare delle preparazioni light, senza aggiunta di grassi.
Se invece già possiedi un forno, direi che questo prodotto diventa automaticamente un plus che non da valore aggiunto.
