For the last couple of years I used shorts from a linen company we used at my job. The shorts they provided worked fantastic for the job I was doing. I have since left the company and the shorts I used them as long as I could.
I looked on Amazon for something close to those shorts but I found these Dickies shorts and they exceed the shorts I used to wear, and I had not worn the Dickies brand shorts for work before.
I received them at home and tried them on and they fit amazing. They are the right length, comfortable and won’t cause me any issues doing my normal job function.

I have tried a number of different brands of cargo shorts. These rank among the worst. The pockets are shallow. There is not really enough room for double fold wallet, let alone a larger phone. Also, the belt loops are not big enough to run a 1.5" standard web belt through. When you walk, the fabric bunches up on the front of the leg. They just are not comfortable. The only recommendation I can give for these is to not get them.

If you’ve ever had a pair of Dickies work slacks (heavy duty, ridged) then imagine having those in shorts form! These were not comfortable. They were not loose. I can’t imagine them being cargo worthy…as a jar of mayonnaise would never fit in these pockets

My wife stated they look as if someone cut pants into shorts because of how large they are at the knee. Also I noticed if you wear with a belt the clasp at the waste comes undone frequently.

They keep the shape and the color is great. If I had anything negative, it would be they are heavy. Had to cinch my belt two notches, I was afraid of them falling down.

The shorts fit well but the pockets are made oddly. The pockets are deep enough but not wide enough for me. But I have extremely large hands so it might be fine for everyone else.
