We debated on whether or not to send this back because the waist was slightly smaller than his other waistbands - the same size - and the legs were much wider than expected. He otherwise loved them for lightness, appearance, and functionality. The legs were also long enough to cover his knee surgery scars.

These are made high quality to last a long time, but the fabric is so thick!! I ended up with swamp ass all day because these things do not breathe whatsoever. If you are looking for fall time shorts then maybe, do not buy for summertime

Excellent Shorts but Not Perfect

The only thing preventing me from rating these as 5 stars is the fact that the material is a bit rough, almost denim like. However, I am sure they will soften up as they go through the wash several times. I have to say they are pretty comfortable over all and bought a couple pair more since. But, the other two pair are the relaxed fit and not the loose fit. I will see how they compare. Since I am 6'7" tall, I love the fact that they come down to my knee since most cargo shorts with a 10 inch or 11 inch inseam are just too short and show too much leg. :-)

This is a heavy fabric; I wanted a lightweight fabric for summer wear. That apparently wasn't in the product description on-line. These would be good for outdoor work, but not for dress. I'm returning it.

Here's the big issue. Dickie don't come with flimsy slide fasteners. These things are hilariously flimsy so much I'm afraid to put then on because the fastener will break. Buy the wranglers

These are well made. They're a very thick canvas-like material. They're very stiff but comfortable. However, my wife and I agreed they looked a little strange on me so I returned them. That's not to say they wouldn't look good on someone else. It's all personal preference.
