these seem to be okay. We'll see how long they last. Might buy more. However it says "loose fit" and that couldn't be further from the truth. I wear a 30" but got a 32" just in case, and it fits very snug. The only part loose is the crotch area. I suppose that's a good thing, if it prevents them from ripping. If they can survive a kitchen for more than a few months I may increase the # of stars on this review. Just be warned you most definitely need a size up to fit the waist properly. 2 sizes if you're looking for a loose waist fit. ***Update*** they hold up great however I ordered a couple more pairs, same size, and they are a little too big. Seems to be a lack of quality control or somebody has been stiching the wrong size label on them. Still decent but ugh. Oh and the belt loops are too small, I struggle to get my belt through them.
Wanted some shorts that were relatively sturdy (check), a bit longer below the knee (check), and comfortable (check). These fit exactly as expected, which is sometimes a surprise when ordering online. They are extremely comfortable, with a relaxed leg and crotch area, and seem fairly heavyweight, which is the opposite of how most clothes are delivered (light & thin). I expect these to last a long time!
I wear a size 32 in jeans, so I ordered these in 32 and they fit perfectly. They're a little longer than I expected, coming to just below my knees (I'm 6 feet tall,) and I don't care for the velcro on the left back pocket, but that's a matter of personal preference. Over all I'm pleased and will be buying another pair in a different color soon.
We had to send back the first pair, as the waist was too small (even though it was the same size as all my husbands other shorts & pants). We got the next size up and while they fit in the waist they are SO baggy. Like, think ‘90s skater shorts baggy. If that’s your thing, cool, you’ll love them. But they don’t fit like your basic Dickies shorts. I’ve got flared skirts with less fluff.
Normally you'd hardly ever see me wearing shorts. I am happy with the loose fit and the pockets were a deal breaker. The top side front pockets are kinda narrow towards the bottom. Good length, they cover my knees. ;)
Shorts fit as expected (the 32" fit my 32" waist, no belt needed). Expected them to be a Khaki pants-type material but instead they are the standard Dickie workpants-type material (which is fine, should be more durable). I get in and out of a truck A LOT for my job and pants normally tear/give out right below the back pocket from rubbing on the seat. These should hold up much better, and the extra pockets of the cargo style really come in handy.
