These pants are a nice fit and I like the soft material but the legs are more flared then pictured. I was looking for more of a straight leg/boot cut. They are nice pants and I will be keeping them but don't expect 'slim fit boot cut'
I am not one to write reviews much, but I have to say these pants are the best 26 dollars I spent in a while and I will definitely be buying them again! My favorite work pants (gap classic khakis boot cut) do not exist anymore, they had disappeared from stores years ago, I think I bought the last batch a few years back online, and now they have disappeared both in stores and online. In recent years I have grown increasingly annoyed by "fashion", because it is now almost impossible to find a pair of boot cut or flare pants, all you find is freaking leggings and skinny pants and lately we have also moved to high waist...as if the skinny leg wasn't enough. I am pretty skinny myself and I think I have a pretty good figure (5'6", 120-125 lbs, straight figure, 27-28" waist and a round butt :D) but honestly you need to be like a runaway model to look good in skinny high waist pants. Flare leg and low waist really makes anybody look better/slimmer in my opinion (or at least for my body shape). So bottom line, I never bought a pair of pants online, I was sure I was going to return them, but after going through gap, old navy, express, banana republic, target and walmart (both in store and online) with no luck of finding a nice pant that would fit my body at a decent price, I was desperate, so I caved and ordered these. The only thing I would change is that I would have preferred a lower waist, other than that they are perfect: they fit well and they are comfortable because of the stretch material. The size chart is accurate enough: I am a 2-4 in my gap khakis, a 2 in Express pants, and I fit well in a 4 regular in these, I guess I could fit in a 2 if I wanted a more curvy look. They do not shrink in waist/hip size upon washing but (as many have said) they do get about an inch shorter after washer + drier (which made them the perfect length for me, no complains here), so do not fix the bottom before washing/drying them and keep that in mind if you are tall and need them as is...it might last if they never see a drier, but I would not know! The flare leg (that I heard so many people here complain about) for me is a BIG plus. I can't wait for bell bottoms and low waist to come back because that is what works best for my body shape :D ...come on people it's been 10+ years of skinny, it's time for flare to come back! OK I've said it! LOL
5' 7" 125 lbs. Generally wear 30x32 and never had sizing issues with other brands.
Got 10R and found out the waist runs about 3 inches larger. Returned and ordered 6R to see if they will fit better.
Also, bottoms are way wider than one can possibly imagine. Don't trust the listing images because they literally are 60's bell bottom flares. Just hoping 6R will come with narrower bottom than 10R.
Overall quality and feel seem great and really would like to have these pants if waist size and bottom widths work out on 6R.
**UPDATE** 6R was a good fit. Also tried 8R but was still too loose. It looks like all the different opinions about sizing depend whether you have hips and thighs. I have almost no hips and thighs and had to size down. Also on the 6R the bottom is narrower and no longer looks like bell bottoms. Very good pants and really happy to have them.
Unfortunately I missed the return deadline. I gave three stars because they fit nice and were comfortable, but I don't like wrinkles. I ironed them and after putting on my shoes they were already wrinkling. I took them off and changed pants. For measurement information I am 5'7 135 waist fit perfect but the length was a bit long. Just touched floor with flat shoes.
My college-aged daughter needed tan pants for work. She usually wears shorts or skinny jeans, so I wasn't sure how khaki pants would feel. She says the fit and do the job. I didn't know how she would feel about the Dicky's tag that shows in the back. She said that she really doesn't care. She's just glad they fit.
I bought these for work in my office environment after some weight loss. I now wear a size 10 in almost every brand, but these size 10 are just snug enough to be uncomfortable. Go up a size, and wear a belt if they're too big. Otherwise fantastic pants. Well-made, sturdy for frequent wears/washes. Pockets are even a little rugged inside for holding tools or whatever else you might need to hold.
These pants lasted a little over a year before they got a hole in the seam of the crotch. They've stretched out a lot, but have only kept one sharpie stain throughout all the chocolate, oil, eggs, and other food production mishaps. They can't seem to unwrinkle, but I'm not a big fan of the iron, either. Overall, decent work pants for the price. If you work in an office setting, they'll last much longer.
Somewhat small in waist. I have a big butt and thighs and had a good amount of room for both of those so the tight fit around waist was a bit surprising. The pants are a bit long but I have shorter legs. I wouldn't call the flare bell bottoms either but it's a nice one that is less prominent after washing. Still very comfortable and look goodenough to dress up or down.
I did not order tall's and the length of the pants were at least 8" to long, I can't even roll them up. I'm giving them to the salvation army and will never by this brand again. Nothing inside to use for a return.
