Love the thick canvus like material. I'm a farmer and a woman and these pants are perfect for dirty jobs! I just wish the side leg pocket was large enough to hold my phone. It's just an inch or so too narrow to accommodate my galaxy s9. But the double front duck canvus material and overall fit still makes this a great work pant for women. They do fit a little big so I suggest ordering down a size as they do have some stretch to them so by the end of the day they loosen up. I washed in hot and dried on high heat but they did not shrink.
These pants are not as thick and stiff as Carhartts in my opinion. Maybe that makes them less durable (?), but I can move more freely in the Dickies. I will be able to use them for hiking because I can actually lift my legs up high enough to scramble over objects like logs. I wear a size 12 normally, which are sometimes too long. This pair is quite long, but I roll up the cuffs. They fit perfectly at first, but after wearing them for about 20 minutes they loosened up and became a little baggy in the rear end. I can wear them with or without a belt. I don't usually dry clothes in a dryer because I don't like how snug they come out, but I could probably dry these and they would be perfect.
I love these pants. They do run large - I usually wear size 8 in pants but after reading a few reviews I ordered these in a 6. They fit kind of loose in the crotch when I first tried them on, almost like men's pants, but the more I wear them the more they break in. They fit my legs and butt well without being restrictive and the longer lenght looks good with my work boots. I've spent $100 plus on women's work pants that don't fit or hold up to wear and tear as well as these. Highly recommend!
I own and operate a property maintenance company in Florida. I do lawn care, and needed something not as thick as Carhartt but comfortable, to be in heat and jungle like terrain. I wish they had size 0. As 2 waist is still too big for me, stick figure 125lb, 5'5" here. But, a belt helps. I love them as they protect my legs and are easy to move in, even in the heat. I also do carpentry, and they definitely hold up to a beating.
LOVE these pants. I have been looking for the perfect work pants for women in the trades. I cant stand carhartt, they fit too tight, and as im a welder, pants too tight and I will get burns on my legs. Plus I dont need tight pants to show off my butt when I work with 99% men. I have already burnt a few holes in these, but they are soooo comfy, and the price is affordable as opposed to the $60 double front carhartts, I dont mind the dickies taking wear and tear. If I get 6 months out of these, it will be totally worth it. Order at least a size down, I am a size 6, ordered a 4 and I still need a belt, but its fine as I like them loose as opposed to tight. Totally recommend these
Like most girls who need work pants, I struggle to find carhartts that fit me. These are a slightly softer, stretchier carhartt that has a female shape and fits in the leg just enough to get over my boot very comfortably. It’s everything I wish carhartt would make in a women’s pant! I’ve only been wearing them a week, so I can’t speak to how they’ll hold up, but Dickies is a solid brand and the material is almost identical to carhartt. I have high hopes. But order them 1-2 sizes smaller than your normal. I’m usually a 6 and that size swam on me with these pants. I ordered a 4 and it fits, but I’m ordering a 2 as well to see if they make my butt look better (and I can still zip them) haha.
Definitely runs large but these are great work pants for women. Not flimsy like most women's pants. Reinforced knees, sturdy fabric, comfortable fit. I have wide hips which makes them a bit awkward for me because they seem to be cut for narrower hips so mine are too big in the waist but I'll deal with that for the high quality otherwise.
I am so happy I discovered these pants. I wear them under overalls when painting, I wear when working for clients. They are very durable and perfect amount of stretch. Perfect amount of pockets for my phone, tape measurer, knife, and there is a hammer loop. The knees have extra material. The perfect work pant.
