I am really happy with these pants, which I use for heavy outside gardening jobs. Lots of mud, wet grass and general dirty jobs. The fit is great and the pant leg width is just right. The double knee is great for all the weeding work that I do.
Run small. Tan fabric is slightly heavier than green, and leg length is longer. Like that pants sit above the hip, and fairly low on the waist. Don't squeeze my tummy. Size 4 - My hips are 37 and true waist is 29 and I ordered a size 4 (whaaat crazy vanity sizing??) and the 4 are very comfy for working, but a belt is required. Size 2 - Next ordered two pair and they fit well, comfy not tight, belt still needed. Fabric seems durable. and tough. Repels annual weed stickers. Love them all.
Like most girls who need work pants, I struggle to find carhartts that fit me. These are a slightly softer, stretchier carhartt that has a female shape and fits in the leg just enough to get over my boot very comfortably. It’s everything I wish carhartt would make in a women’s pant! I’ve only been wearing them a week, so I can’t speak to how they’ll hold up, but Dickies is a solid brand and the material is almost identical to carhartt. I have high hopes. But order them 1-2 sizes smaller than your normal. I’m usually a 6 and that size swam on me with these pants. I ordered a 4 and it fits, but I’m ordering a 2 as well to see if they make my butt look better (and I can still zip them) haha.
After reading all kinds of reviews, I bought 2 sizes larger than I normally wear, and they fit comfortably at my waist, but had a huge flare at the ankle, like I was wearing bell bottoms. Every pair of dickies I have tried is too tight on the waist or cut weird. I may be tempted to still wear it if it were cheaper, but it is getting returned, and I will spend a bit more $ for a good construction pant that fits well.
I live for the pants, but I'm disappointed in my purchase because the pants I bought were a size 4 and I usually get size 2. I took a bet on them and they don't fit terribly, they're way better than the men's pants I had before, I just use a belt to try and compensate. I just wish they had more in size 2. I would definitely buy another pair next year if it was in my size
I am between a 6 and an 8 but I’m in the middle of losing my Covid 10, so I went with the 6. They were way too big. Ordered a 4 and they fit perfectly. I sell HVAC and cannot find women’s pants with pockets. I need my hands free when scoping a job and these pants are it. I am happy with the size and style
