Dirty Little Secrets Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
From the best-selling author of The Perfect Lie.
In the exclusive gated community of Withered Vale, people's lives appear as perfect as their beautifully manicured lawns. Money, success, privilege - the residents have it all. Life is good.
There's just one problem.
Olive Collins's dead body has been rotting inside number four for the last three months. Her neighbours say they're shocked at the discovery but nobody thought to check on her when she vanished from sight.
The police start to ask questions and the seemingly flawless facade begins to crack. Because, when it comes to Olive's neighbours, it seems each of them has something to hide, something to lose and everything to gain from her death.
A compelling psychological thriller, perfect for fans of Liane Moriarty, C. L. Taylor and Sarah Pearse.

From the outside the gated community of Withered Vale looks perfect. Life for these residents is good. but when police are called to the area for a dead body they are shocked to discover that Olive Collins at No.4 has been dead for 3 months and nobody noticed. As the investigation into Olives death continues it seems that all the whole neighbourhood has something to hide, something to lose and nobody is really that upset to learn that she is dead. It is hard to say much more without giving anything away.

A definite high five from me!
The storyline revolves around 7 houses and occupants, situated in a wealthy gated community. It’s a work of fiction so the narrator, who is dead, is excused for her input (Olive). Olive is found dead in her armchair, after three months of not being discovered. The characters living in their properties then narrate their stories, in an alternating manner and it becomes clear that most had a reason to kill Olive. Olive was an interfering biddy, mostly disliked, who caused trouble in the community.
So, the plot is a little like Cluedo- did Olive die of natural causes or was she murdered? A good guessing game without the excitement.
