I bought this strapless bra with the hope of wearing it under my wedding dress. It was very comfortable and easy to wear throughout the day. The back was low enough for my dress but unfortunately the cups didn't dip low enough in the front. I ended up having an issue where you could see the edge of the bra if you weren't looking directly head on at the dress. Unfortunately it was fairly noticeable since I picked the nude color. I ended up returning this strapless bra for another one, but I wish this one had worked as it is a lot more comfortable and well fitted than the one I bought in its place. I felt like this bra gave a ton of support and would have loved to wear it all night. Note that I did size down one cup size and up a band size. I'm normally a 34 DD and a 36 D fit perfectly on me. I was able to buckle the bra up on my own, but some people may need help getting it closed.
I bought this 6 months ago. I thought I would wear it once for the wedding I was in and never want to wear it ago. I was wrong. Maybe because I gave my measurements and it is in fact custom but it is THE most comfortable bra I have ever owned. I wear it around the house in my comfortable clothes. It makes me look great and pulls me in some. It's made in America. Came from New York. The bones have not come through the material after all this time. The bra I bought at Dillard's for $45 the wires came through after the 3rd wear. I'd challenge anyone to find a better bra, strapless or not, than this one.
Stayed in place for a 12 hr day (& i wasn't sitting still for most of it), supported modest curves with a chubby tummy, and was actually pretty comfortable no matter how i moved. If you are really Full Busted, it might not work strapless - the cups are a little soft & 'buckled' a little bit when i moved or bent the night i tried it on but putting on the straps or a cami over it got rid of that. Common complain is "finding the right size" - that is a guessing game & depends on knowing your build & what you've BEEN wearing, not just "size". Here's my two cents: if your shirts & pants run about the same size like me (i'm an XL/0X top & a 14 plus/16 Misses pants), go up a band & down a cup - i actually went up 2 bands & down 1 cup because i've put on weight & not replaced my everyday ones yet, so my 'regular' size wasn't the right one to start with. If you're really hippy (or have a tummy) with smaller bust/shoulders, it may be harder to fit right because you can't get the cups small enough when you get the waist big enough - they AREA sized by proportion. And someone really busty but smaller waisted would have opposite problem of not getting waist sized to be snug & supportive if got a full enough cup size. If you haven't bought bras in years, go try on a new one before buying this to be sure where to start.
I really want to give this one five stars since it stayed in place and I was going to until I sat down later in the night (wore it under a strapless gown to a ball). As soon as I sat down it dug into my side. I endured the pain because I'd been standing on concrete for hours and my fatigue was greater than the pain. I would have been in trouble had I been in a situation where I had to sit for an extended period of time. I will wear it again since it kept my poor little girls place (actually looked like I had some) and I do believe it pulled my waste and stomach in some. Besides, no pain, no gain...right?
It was almost what I needed but the bust had no padding support. I still kept it because it was the best ones I found. I wanted a way to have a strapless bra that wouldn't fall while also giving me some compression. I discovered a waist trainer / cincher plus a strapless bra works way better (plus it supports you better without painful straps). I need compression in my mid section due to a health condition (POTS) and this product didn't provide much.
I tried the sizing guide other reviews mentioned and even found one who's size matched my body. It fit terribly. The cup and band size are way off. The corset stops short right where most people carry weight and gave me an unflattering roll. This is just a miss for me. I doubt it would stay up had the side been correct. Bummer
What a horrible experience! I ordered this as a rush because they didn't have it Prime, and I need something to wear with my wedding gown for the seamstress STAT. She recommended a bustier so I found this one and ordered a band size up. Getting it around my waist/body was no problem, and it was fairly easy to turn around to the front. The problem? The "bust" part offers ZERO support whatsoever, gave me NO lift at ALL, and somehow still managed to squish my underarms so bad that they stuck out and looked horrible, like a pool of extra skin that would look awful with my dress. Basically, this provided NO lift, No support, and NO difference that I needed to lift them up in my dress. Returning.
The sizing for this product is off! I also have have my measurements professionally measured yearly so it's not my measurements! The idea of this is great but the fit is terrible. In order to get the correct fit in the lower half around the stomach you need to size up but it makes it difficult to determine the right cup size!
Unless you band and lower abdomen are similar measurements (which is not why most ppl want 'cause its not) then I would not order this--the sizing is just too hard to get right!
Lots of people mentioned the short length of the bodice. My daughter is 5' 2" and has the darndest time finding clothing with a bodice that has a short enough waist. We got this to wear under her prom dress. Even though most clothing is too long for her, this item was still way too short! She is a small woman, so I was surprised at how short this was. I have no idea how big the product model is, but she must be very, very tiny. The cups also ran large so we had to cut up an old bra and stick the cushioned cups inside the bustier. The construction itself is good quality, but you really must be small to wear it and the cups are oversized compared to the bodice, which we could barely hook at the largest option.
It definitely smoothed out my love handles but the cup size is like 1 size too big. And I wish it was like 1 or 2 inches longer for the lower belly. I’m normally 32DD sometimes E and I got the DD and it’s too big. You can barely see the boning in tight dresses which is what I wanted it for. But it’s looks great on. One of the best waist cinchers I’ve ever had
