I really want to give this one five stars since it stayed in place and I was going to until I sat down later in the night (wore it under a strapless gown to a ball). As soon as I sat down it dug into my side. I endured the pain because I'd been standing on concrete for hours and my fatigue was greater than the pain. I would have been in trouble had I been in a situation where I had to sit for an extended period of time. I will wear it again since it kept my poor little girls place (actually looked like I had some) and I do believe it pulled my waste and stomach in some. Besides, no pain, no gain...right?

I tried the sizing guide other reviews mentioned and even found one who's size matched my body. It fit terribly. The cup and band size are way off. The corset stops short right where most people carry weight and gave me an unflattering roll. This is just a miss for me. I doubt it would stay up had the side been correct. Bummer

I needed something for a strapless evening gown. I tried soooo many things on in stores. The regular (not longline) strapless bras really don't give much support at all. This is tight and has a lot of hooks, but after I got it on it was reasonably comfortable and gave a good lift and smooth look under my gown. I had my daughter hook me up in the back and we laughed because it reminded us of those movies where ladies are having their corset strings tightened. I don't know if I could have put this thing on by myself.
